doTerra Or Young Living

I've always been interested in e.o.'s but usually get them from the health food store, but only use mine in diffuser. Last month I was invited to a doTerra party but the dealer wasn't a local person and I wasn't able to make it anyway. I also heard good things about Young Living and Thieves. Do any of you sell this stuff or know someone who does. I would love to find more about them and what they can do.

What can I do next?

I love my Thieves oil from YL - got it from Amazon. Check there!

I'm not into those parties.

I order my oils from Young Living. In the research I've done I've learned not to buy from health food stores because those oils are distilled with chemicals rendering them mostly ineffective. The doTerra, Young Living, and another brand that I can't think of the name of, are far superior because they are truly "pure".

They are expensive, but worth it, I think. Especially once you really learn how to use them (I'm still learning).

I buy Young Living as well as I have a distributor license, as I will be a health coach in a few months and I wanted to be able to offer essential oil therapy to my clients. I personally like their products--and esp Thieves--and they just had certain blends that I can't get anywhere else. I've also read extensively about the split and DoTerra going off and becoming a new business and lots of acrimonious accusations--not interested in the theatrics. I just want my oils and what I know works. And I get that with Young Living.

Young Living and doTerra are good companies, but they are not the "be all, end all" of essential oils. The expense of these oils comes not from their superior purity, but from the need to satisfy monetary demands of a downline.

That being said, many easily accessible oils are complete garbage, so don't buy from companies that you haven't fully checked out.
In addition to Young Living, I also buy from Plant Therapy. Native American Nutritionals is reported to be a wonderful source for top quality essential oils, and I look forward to purchasing from them in the future.
