This another one of those things that I thought it will never happen to me, lol.
My 2.5 year old LOVES to be naked, we haven't getting to the point where she wants to be naked outside (yet, lol) but at home she is always trying and asking me to be naked. Why is that?
Does your toddler does that too and do you let him/her?
Honey, I'm 42 and I love to be naked...but no one wants to see that :) Seriously though, it could be a phase, but it may just be her personality. As long as you teach her when, where and why you should have nothing to worry about.
Yes. My boys never really did (unless it was prebath time) but already today my daughter (turned 2 in Nov.) has changed her clothing 3 times, and ran around the house naked between each one.
She often removes all her nightclothes before she falls asleep too (including her diaper).
I'm hoping it is an annoying phase that will soon be ending... but somehow I doubt it... it's been a year and that girl just likes to be free.
I remind her she can only do it at home, and that it's best to wear her undies when she is naked.... my husband doesn't like her naked bottom all over the furniture ;) I try to keep her clothed though - it's cold here in the winter.

I'm pretty sure it's a stage every kid goes through. I remember when my neighbor's DD used to strip down and do her 'bootie dance' in the giant picture window. lol. (Her mom would always dress her as soon as she found out, but those kids are wiley!) We still have the pictures as evidence, much to her horror.
My little one is 2 1/2 and he strips down every chance he gets :)
I have even gone up to check on him during his nap and he's in bed, sound asleep....naked!
Of course! I love to be naked, too! When she was 2 we let her use the kiddie pool on the deck naked sometimes. One day she was in there and the little boy from next door came over, followed by his mom, and before we knew it, he stripped his clothes off and joined her! We just smiled.
We still get naked when we feel like it, especially since it's just us two girls living here ;-) just right now it's a little chilly for that... I've never had any hangups about nudity.
ROFL... Heck! My EIGHT year old loves being naked.
I have to tell you though... I miss 3 things having gotten "ugly". And ONE of those is skinny dipping. Sooooo miss that. One of the most wonderful feelings in the world.
Oh goodness yes. Keeping clothes on my daughter is more difficult than keeping clothes on a fish. She also likes dressing up - shirts as skirts, socks as mittens, bags as pants and tutus as everything. Occasionally she will choose to wear clothing as it is meant to be worn.
Her favorite outfit today was a huge flower hair clip (she has wild, wild, curly hair), a tutu, striped sweat pants, no shirt (but a rain coat), and daddy's boots. Totally (not) functional.
I have yet to spend a day at home with her where she didn't get partially or fully undressed at some point.
Oh well. If we lived in a warmer climate she'd probably be naked most of the time. As it is, summers are spent in skivvies, swim suit bottom or shorts and sand from the beach. Winters are a mishmash of what ever I put on her when we go out that is dry and stays on her body once we are back indoors.
BTW I think it might be hereditary. Apart from snow suit photos, all pictures of me as a young child are naked. I still think clothes are sort of uncomfortable ;)
VERY normal:-) I don't require clothes at home, but when we go out, they wear them.
my DD is 7 and sometimes when shes out of the shower or in time to get in she just love to come and say something to me at the kitchen naked!! and I have pics of me as a toddler naked, even when I was 23 and move to my own apartment i just to love been naked, I still do but with kids is not possible, maybe when they get out of the house in 20 years I will try that again....oh my18 months loves to run naked before getting in the tub....
Um...who DOESN'T love being naked!?! lol
the first thing my 2 year old does whenever we get inside our front door is take his pants off. Can't blame him--I immediately take my jeans off and slip into "comfy pants" and hubby does the same. Before we had kids it was naked time though haha
YES! My boys loooove being naked. I let them run around naked and don't make it a big issue. I have found if I make a deal of it,my little one tends to take off clothes in public-so I avoid this by letting them take them off at home.

Yes and yes (most to of the time). She's 4 now and does it less. The rules were she needed to wear undies if anyone other than family was home. And if she wanted to play with friends she needed clothes. She "outgrew" it. It's totally NORMAL : )
We had to designate a "naked run time" for our 3 year old. About 30 minutes before bath time each night, gets to run around the house naked. He loves it! He will run up & down the hall, roll on the floor, spin in circles, shake his butt, and so on. And he gets so excited when he knows it's almost time, he will shriek and laugh like a maniac! He'll even take his clothes and put them in the hamper if it means he gets to be naked longer.
Both my kids loved being naked. My son (3) will still dance and say "I'm a nakey boy" every time he is naked. It is cute and funny because I know it will pass. My daughter is 5 and she stopped doing this about 6 months ago. So, it is a phase, it will pass.
Yes! My daughter just turned 3 and still loves to run naked. It's the cutest thing ever!
