Does Halo Sleep Sack Work for a 11 Month Old Active Sleeper?

Now that is turning colder I needed to find something that will keep my ACTIVE 11 month old son warm at night. I have been layering his clothes but I don't think that is enough. So I went to Babies-r-us and bought the Halo Sleep Sack. He moves constantly in his sleep and when he wakes up he stands up and plays in his crib. The one I bought is totally enclosed at the bottom so his feet don't come out. My concern is that he will trip if he stands up or it will be annoying to wear for him. Is there any way for me to transition him into wearing this at night and how is it for active sleepers?

I am hoping that he will sleep better with it. Last night I kept hearing him whining in his sleep so I put a blanket on him but he kicked it off. I hope this sleep sack helps keep him comfy and maybe he will sleep better.
Thanks,
T.

The problem with fleece pajamas/sleepers is that my 13-month-old starts sweating even before I put him in the crib so I end up just putting him in light PJs and hope that he stays under the blanket. I do have to crank up the heat to make sure he doesn't get too cold, and I check up on him a couple of times during the night.

T.,
My daughter is 16 months old and has never liked blankets and likes to pull of her socks, etc. So, I bought a small heater for her room, no matter what she's wearing to bed, I can adjust it accordingly. I figure it's more comfortable for her not to have on layers and I don't have to be concerned if she's too hot or too cold.
I would recommend a Radiator Heater that you can get at Home Depot for around $40. I turn it on before she goes to bed so her room is nice and warm and then turn it off the next morning.

My son would not wear sleeper sacks of footie pj's. He would cry and try to rip them off. We finally gave in and got him regular all-in-one pj's (w/ no feet). He wore a onsie underneath and a pair of warm socks. He always started out w/ a blanket but usually kicked it off by morning. He's 11 and it didn't warp him in any way.

My daughter is 21 months old and still uses hers. The weight goes up to 25 pds for the large size. I have just recently put a blanket in her crib that I tuck in on 3 sides although, she tosses and turns through the night and ultimately winds up on top of the covers. She also stands in her crib and has done really well.
Come spring I will take her out of it.

I must say I am a huge fan of the sleep sacks. My son slept in one until he was 2. He was always warm, but it didn't restrict him too much. He could stand, walk, and eventually run in it. I would recommend them to anyone.

My son is 14 months and is extreamly active as well. The Halo Sleep Sac worked just fine for my son. I also like the fleece blanket sleepers that I got at the Carter's store. They are really cozy and soft and have legs in them for when he does stand up in his crib.

Good luck!

Those were only good for my son until he started standing up. Are you sleeping him in a blanket sleep with feet? We just had to keep the temperature of our home around 68-70 at night... and deal with it.
