Goord Morning Moms - are any of you using Focus Factor for Kids? Have you noticed any difference with your children from this product? Also, for anyone who uses this, is the product to be taken with a mult-vitamin or does it replace the mulit-vitamin? I can't seem to find any information on their website. Thanks.

What can I do next?

Before trying this or any product that is saying it is safe for kids. And you may already have, try other avenues for help with concentration or ADHD type symptoms. Please take this as a suggestion and not a criticism as only you can do what you feel is right for your child and family.
Make sure a child who seems unable to hold focus has enough physical exercise daily, outside time minimum 1 to 2 hours outside, it's okay if it's above 10 below 95 and not thunder and lightening and not any other dangerous conditions. Enroll them in a sport(work on finding the one they if not love, can tolerate) and if possible even young expose them to music either learning an instrument or dance.
If homework is an issue have them sit on a flexball while doing homework and if this works at home it may need to be carried in some way to the classroom.
Good solid diet, get rid of food dyes as much as possible. Have the child tested for allergies and intolerances such as diabetes, celiac, thyroid, nuts, peanuts, soy, shell fish, etc as some of these will "block" the ability to focus.
I would try these routes before investing in a "product" of any sort, including medicating my child by prescription...you will have to work to find your childs route to learning and calm.

I am actually on my way out to buy it. I've tried a GNC attention product and it is somewhat working, but I want to see if Focus Factor works better.

I bought it for my daughter, but she has a hard time chewing the tablets because of texture and taste. So, it's hard to say if it really works, or not because she is inconsistent taking. I have found many in a tissue in the restroom waste basket.

We use the BrightSpark from the same company and it made a big difference after about a week's use. Initially, our sons behavior got slightly worse but I emailed N.R. and they said that it was totally normal b/c it's kind of like getting a flu shot.
We thought we'd just start with the BrightSpark and see how it works before trying the combo and I don't think we need to even go that step. We are very happy with the results and our son has now been taking it for about a month. His teacher has even noticed a considerable difference in his ability to focus and sit still and control his urges in class. Our son is almost 7. You can PM if you have more ?'s.

I haven't used it yet for my son by my friend just ordered it and I'm waiting to see how well her son responds after being on it for a while. Here's the website ingredient info:

Looks like it does not replace your multi vitamin.
