I know this site isn't the greatest for work related vents. So I dont want to waste mommy question time here. If you any of you gals that work outside the home know of a site that is specifically for venting about job stress please share. I searched, but would like a recommendation if any of you have one please.

You've easily earned a tangent. Please post away. You can even change your name and post anonymously, I don't know if anyone is still tagging all the newbies with the "Welcome to Mamapedia".

as long as you dont name your company, there are a few places to do so. however with the way we are losing our freedom to privacy I wouldn't recommend doing so with out great caution. call me paranoid but Big Brother is watching. I vent on this site and FB cause i already know that I am toast at any time if they want to get me.

I'd say better not vent on the internet, anywhere, anytime.

Venting about friends, family, kids, and other stuff is OK, but venting about jobs...hmm...I'd rather play it safe and vent to DH or some close friend, in person...
Never know when any online content comes to bite in the back, in the professional world! :))

I don't know if it's still up, but some years ago I found myjobsucks.com or something to that effect. You could be completely anonymous and some of the stories were actually quite comical. It was truly a place for just venting and sharing stories....people getting things off their chests.

Just google.
I actually shared a story about a co-worker and it felt so good to get the words out. Plus, reading some of the other stories gave me a bit of a lift.

You can always vent to me. I have some vents and stories you wouldn't believe.
I'm thankful to have my job, but some things, you really just wouldn't believe.

Take care and hang in there!

Best wishes.

Truu Confessions is a good site for venting. They have a section for "Office" as well as "Moms". There's usually not much discussion/advice, but for just venting it's great.
