Different Bridal Shower Ideas

I really enjoyed going to a Thursday evening shower. There was wine and slushy drinks. You can do a theme like stock the bar or a kitchen or bathroom theme. Enjoy the planning!

My daughter held a shower for a friend and made "mixed drinks". She got tiny champagne glasses and made "pina coladas", "strawberry daquiris", etc, with Jelly Belly jelly beans! Very cute!

I think a shower with both of the couple is fun. Just have small finger foods for snacking and talking. Then if you want to open gifts in front of the guests I know they love to see if you liked their gift. Or if you want to have more fun with the food thing do a fondue party with gifts. everyone loves the chocolate desert fondue.

I had the traditional bridal shower just like you described above, but my husband was there the whole time... he wanted to be there! He asked me if he could be a part of it and I was so happy. I was at a co-ed shower and we had so much fun, it was just like a party from when we were younger. An acquaintance recently had a shower that I wasn't able to go and I wish I would have been able to because it was a different theme. She had it in the evening and it was a wine and hors d'oeuvres shower. No silly games, just a L. more sophisticated. I heard it was really nice and a nice change from the usual.

My best friend just got married we thru both of bride to be and the groom to be a mexican theme party. We let everyone know it was a gift card shower. There were 4 of us and everyone made something different we had tacos, with beef, chicken and steak with all the fixings. We also had beans, rice, rotel, another dip and a cake. Everyone enjoyed it. We even went as far as to have a band also. They played for free as a favor to one of the other girls that was helping.
