I use Huggies Overnights and they are the only ones that have worked so far. Good Luck and I hope this helps.

Does anyone know of a GOOD diaper for boys? My 8 month old son keeps wetting through the top!! Arghhhhh...I have tried Pampers and Huggies. Help!

We had the same problem w/our son. We started using Swaddlers and when he grew out of those switched to the Cruisers. They are a bit more expensive but so well worth it! We had no problems after that. Hope that helps.
Every child is different. Each of my 4 boys used a different kind. My oldest used Luvs. My 2nd oldest could use anything. My 3rd used Huggies and my last used Pampers. Also, my youngest was able to use the diapers at DiaperMart in Arlington. You get like 96 diapers for $20.
Hi L.,
I don't know if it is happening to him all the time or not, but my son was leaking through Huggies at night so I switched to Pampers, but until I used the rest of the Huggies I would put an inexpensive maxi pad in the front of the diaper overnight and it worked like a charm! Diapers are expensive, so if you have a ton that aren't working, you may try this until you use them all up! Good luck!
Swaddlers were my favorite when he was little but when he got older we had to go to the Cruisers. I hated them. They didn't fit him well and he leaked. I went through all the brands. I tried Huggies Baby Fit and didn't care for them either. I finally was happy with Huggies Natural Fit. They are in a dark red box. You might want to try them. They are a little stretchier so you can get a good fit. Good luck. I know how frustrating leaky diapers are.
I use the target brand diapers for my son and have never had any problems. You can also try buying a size larger and folding the top over when you change him.
I love huggies. Maybe just try the next size bigger. We had the same problem but that fixed it.
Probably obvious answers you've tried:
Bigger size (I have my 17 pounder in size 3)
Point "it" down
Good luck! I've always used the ones from Sam's
We always used Huggies- he leaked out of everything. Just before a year, he started leaking out of Huggies too. At which point i tried Luvs (cheapest to "try") They worked and we've been using them since.
Good luck
With our son, we used the Pampers Swaddlers and then graduated to the Cruisers. They seem to be the best fit for him, yet every child is different :)
try sticking a thick maxi pad sticky side down against the diaper along the inner edge like a belt. that should catch and absorb anything leaking "up" towards the belly button. when my oldest was a baby they actually made maxi looking inserts for just that problem. there was not sticky. depending on how much he leaks will dictate what kind/size of maxi to buy. should solve the problem.
good luck,
L.
We have a boy who is 2 1/2 years old and we had the same problem, however mainly at night time.
My Mother-In-Law suggest that we "double diaper" him. Meaning that you put 2 diapers on him. We've done that at night time and it really helps.
Also I change our Son before we go to bed at 11 or so at night again. That way in the morning the diaper isn't as wet and we don't end up with wet clothing.
We've tried all the different brands and had the same problem. Usually the top diaper isn't even wet, however it is on there just in case he leaks through.
Might be something you want to try at night especially. Good Luck
I have used diaper doublers with any diaper what ever is cheapest... I like the way huggies fits the kids but usually buy what ever is on special... they look a bit like maxi pads... I used to buy them at tom thumb but they have just stopped carrying them;-(
I think that you can find them at baby's R us

They are Amazing! and have made laundry so much easier. I was having to change sheets every day (for both of my sons)
