I have an energetic 2 1/2 year old that I would like to put in Dance or Gynastic/Tumbling Classes.

What can I do next?

There is a Little Gym in Cedar Hill at Hwy 67 & Joe Wilson Rd (in the far corner of the shopping center with Target, Sports Authority, Bed Bath & Beyond). A friend takes her daughter there and says that she really enjoys it. She did say it's a little pricy, but that it has caring staff and that they do a great job with the kids.

You might check the local community colleges. I put my, then 3 yr, in a gymnastics class at Mt. View during the summer and plan on doing it again this summer. They have dance classes also. If you can spend a little money, there is a dance school in Duncanville called Ultimate Dance.

Hope that helps

I love Trevinos Gymnastics in Lancaster (I35 and Parkerville). It's easy to get to from DeSoto. They ahave a Mommy and Me and a preschool class offered both in mornings and evenings. The mornings are so much quieter and easier for the kids to pay attention. Plus, I think they get more one-on-one attention. It's the same price as the other area gyms but the quality is so much better.
Have fun!
