Dark Upper Lip

I had the same thing. I finally went to the doctor when my child was two. It's a "pregnancy mask." I don't remember what the official name is, but my doc prescribed a bleaching cream that worked wonders. I had it on my lip, chin and cheeks. I urge you to consult your doctor. I know that when I use the cream I can't go in the sun. I use sunblock on my face whenever I leave the house. It's treatable and you'll feel "normal" again.

I am in Germany and a German dermatologist recommended a depigmenting cream that I was able to purchase without a prescription at a German pharmacy.

A dermatologist should be able to recommend or prescribe a depigmenting cream for you.

The one I have is Trio Expert, LED Long-lasting Depigmenting Concentrate.

I know how you feel except mine is my upper lip, half my forehead, and above my eyebrows. It is what's known as a maternity mask or pregnancy mask. It will not help to use skin bleachers. Your biggest threat is the sun which with your location is not easy. You need to find a sun lotion with a very high UVA rating. The current system is from 1 to 4 stars, but 5 stars are now coming out. I am currently undergoing laser treatment to try to get rid of mine. The doctor there recomended at least 3 stars UVA protection for me. Hope this helps.

This is going to sound unorthadox but there is an eyecreme that I sell that has a natural lightening agent in it. The product is Arbonne NutriMin C RE9 Corrective Eye Creme. It contains Kojic Acid which is a natural lightening agent and can be used in more areas that just around the eye. Some people have been using it on age spots that appear on the face as well.
