DAMN Cat Hair

I have three cats all with different hair types. I'm always tempted to shave them but the short hair orange tabby is worse than the long hair black one so I don't think it matters. I use anti static spray on furniture before I vacuum it using a tool for hair. That makes the job a lot faster. I keep a lint roller around too. My house will never be cat hair free but I do keep certain rooms cat free. Keeping your cat indoors is helping keep the allergies and pollen out of the house.

I cut my cats hair with clippers. And comb it too, it helps get that undercoat out.

Now, if only my dandruff, scaly skin dog would cooperate, (I shave her down too, but that skin...!)

I have a brown fluffy cat, a calico cat, and a long haired white and orange cat. Also, three brown dogs and one black dog. I can take my work clothing out of the laundry and hang it in the laundry room where no pets are allowed, get dressed in there and immediately leave the house, and darn if I don't have pet hair on me. LOL

I keep a lint roller in the car and one in my desk at work. My co-workers are used to seeing me "rolling" myself before we start the day.

I know if we brush the animals that the shedding does not seem as bad as it catches out the loose hairs - but, in our case, we would spend the majority of our time brushing animals. So, lots and lots of tape rollers and Swiffer dusters.

Sometimes I wish I had gotten hairless cats and dogs - but, nope, we can't really shave them. Sigh

Damn Golden Retreiver hair and DANDRUFF!! Ewwww . . . I feel your pain. I brush (with a $50 Furminator brush, no less) enough hair daily out of Romeo to "clothe" a small pomeranian.

I have 13 cats, 12 were until just 3 months ago 100% indoors. Now they are all outside in a screened in porch. I shave all 12 that are inddor of them over summer and would stop 2 months before it got cold. Once shaved, it takes about 2.5-3 months for the hair to grow back in full.
