Curious If DVD Set Is Legit . . .

Bought mine off eBay when it was a 17 disk collection. It was legit, and almost 4 years later, my boys still love watching them!

I have a perfectly good complete set of these DVDs (the real deal) which I could sell to you. Please note that some of the covers are not in the best shape, but the DVDs themselves are perfect. Let me know. thanks!

I have a set so I know for a fact that it is legit! Then again, I bought it @ Costco, not on a website where I did not see the product physically. My daughter absolutely loved them! It was a great tool to teach her to recognize shapes, sounds, colors, music, sign language, etc! It was a little expensive, but we used that set for 5 years! Money well spent!

Personally I'd say just buy a few second hand dvd's instead of 26. I don't see how you'd ever get around to watching them all and they'd be taking up more space. I always see these at childrens resale shops. Kids ,little ones ,they all seem to like to watch the same one over again.

I purchased a 10 DVD set off Craigslist about 4 years ago.
They ended up being copies and some of them won't play.
I tried to contact the person and of course there was no response. Luckily it was not too expensive.
If you don't have a good feeling about the purchase then don't buy it.

Yes, I have purchased this set. I have seen it at Costco. I have not seen them all. They are okay but my 3rd child doesn't watch as much TV as my first. I might just opt to buy a few and make sure your kids enjoy them. Another set I suggest is Leap Frog--Letter Factory, Math Circus ect...I got mine on Amazon.com. It is really a good set for preschool.

I agree with the other moms that advise to get them on ebay or craigslist. My daughter LOVED the DVDs....and we only had about 4 or so of them because she wanted to watch the same ones over and over again. The only reason we bought other ones was because my husband and I were the ones that got tired of hearing the same DVD over and over again. My daughter actually preferred the older ones over the newer, better-produced ones. So I think you should just gradually get the videos one by one rather than the whole set. I doubt you'd be able to get to all of them anyway....my daughter was done watching them before she was 2.

My son loved his Baby Einstein DVDs however, I would buy them off of Ebay or Craigslist instead of buying them new. You can find them for a fraction of the cost. They are pretty short but very entertaining.

We used the CD set and loved them. We purchased them nine years ago when they first came out. My daughter excelled at everything and we gave credit to the Einstein series.

I bought a set like that Christmas 2007 - it's the real deal as far as I can tell. They are in a fairly small box with a sleve book so they don't take up too much space, which is nice.
I'm not sure what all to tell you, but I got a great deal for them online as well, can't remember how much now, but I want to say well under $100 - maybe $60'ish.
I bought them for my daughter, now 19 mo. She hasn't seen them all yet, but I feel as though I don't need to buy anymore Baby Einsein videos - ever. It's a good set. Since then I found a few individual videos on eBay but I checked the set first to make sure I didn't already have them, and I do.

I have a set from Costco which contains 10 DVD's in a nice box and each DVD is individually wrapped. We only opened 1, maybe 2 and played it once or twice. They are great but my daughter just doesnt have the attention span. She is 2 now and still doesnt watch TV. I have them to sell, perfect condition. Let me know if you are interested. I bought them for $100 at Costco and am selling them for $50, half off and only 1 or 2 have been opened. Not a bad deal. Let me know. I can send you a picture if you'd like.

I'm not real sure what your asking, but I bought one of those sets at Costco about 4 years ago. He Loved all but one of the DVD's, and now I'm using them for the one year old who loves them as well.

Hi, E.. I've seen it at Costco. Sometimes, some big retailers, i.e., Costco, Target, BabiesRUs, etc., would get into a license agreement with the manufacturer, about special deals or products they (the retailer) is only allowed to sell and consumer will not be able to get that product anywhere else. By doing this, like Costco or Target, for example, they can order a large order (quantity-wise) in discounted price and because they're the only ones selling the product, hence consumer would only go to their store. Good luck, those Baby Einsteins, are great.

I bought the 26 disk set off ebay about a year ago for about $50. It was definitly legit. They all come in a small box with sleeves to hold each one. They aren't in seperate dvd cases. I would try a couple to see if your children like them. My daughter didn't pay attention to them at all. Good luck

My daughter loved the Mozart dvd and HATED Bach. She screamed when I put that on. I think it was because you can't dance to Bach.

She LOVED Van Gogh from an early age and still loves it today.

I believe I have seen that set at Costco, and I have never known them to have illegal merchandise.
