We use it a lot at school. It has some fun, interesting ideas on there. It might help you out.

Ha! My husband thought I was crazy but now I know I am not alone. I have been saving my Intl. Delight coffee creamer bottles all year long. I think they look like snowmen. I am just going to spraypaint the blue cap white and decorate from there. The bulbous shape looks like a body, neck and head. Just glue some black buttons on the front, put a scarf around his neck and a baby sock would make a cute hat. Just cut the tip and tie with a ribbon, just like a beanie hat. I have also saved some gatorade bottles to do the same thing. I am going to fill it will potpourri and drill some holes in the top so the scent will come out.
Coffe cans make great cookie gift bags. Have your child decorate some paper and use it to cover the can. Or you can hot glue some nice Christmas fabric to it. Get a thick wire at the hardware store and a wrap it around a wooden dowel. Drill a hole in either side of the cans to make a handle using the wire. It sounds difficult but it is so easy and well worth it. Very inexpensive too and makes a nice gift for teachers and neighbors.

Spraypaint the containers a cool metallic holiday shade and then line them with fabric letting the top come out around the top. hot glue the underside of the fabric to the outside lip of the container (looking like a lined basket) and fill with cookies/candy/fruit ect. just an idea, let us know what works.

On those coffee containers what would be neat especially since Christmas and Thanksgiving are right around the corner, you could spray paint them a color like blue.....then use some of those sponges you find in the craft aisle in Wal-Mart that are shaped like angels or snowmen or some other holiday shape, dip them into some paint, then stamp those shapes all over the coffee can. I would suggest using an enamel on the can, it usually sticks great to plastic and metal coffee cans, and them acrylic for the little designs.

For the lid what you could do is get a holiday themed material, trace the lids outline on it and leave about 2 inches extra all the way around to form a little skirt and hot glue it to the lid. Then take a ribbon and use it around the edge and tie it in a bow. It would look really pretty once you put it all together.

The snowmen idea someone mentioned for the coffee creamer containers is great, I never thought of that one myself. :-)

I have a daughter who is 1 month and 9 days old, and I have a 15 yr old as well. When my 15 year old was little what we would do around Christmas time is do like we were making rice krispie treats only use cheerios instead and add some green food coloring. We would butter up our hands and shape the mixture into Christmas trees. Then I would cut up gumdrops and we would put them on the trees to act like the decorations. She loved that. I bet all of your kids will too. Its something everyone can do together. I dont see any reason why you can't stick with using rice crispies if your kids don't like cherrios. I never tried it. have fun! :-)

I was thinking and depending on the shape and size, the following would work. Nutcracker, Santa, and Sowman. If they are the tall powder containers I think you could do a really cute nutcracker. For Santa and the Snowman you may need to get someting for a head. This just from the top of my head...hope it helps. Jenn:0)

I guess the obvious is to make picture frames out of the coffee containers. and you could fill it with homemade treats made by your kidies. If you want them sugar-free, just search online for some. As for the creamer bottle.... i don't know. Maybe candle holders when you fill them with sand or pebbles... cuttin' them in half and makin' them into ornaments. you could glue them to foam balls and make over-sized ones. GOOD LUCK & have fun!
