I think these days you can find research to back up any argument. My son was born with a cleft lip and palate, I was unable to breastfeed in the conventional way. He was simply unable to latch on. I did pump milk for several months though, and I did use clear bottles throughout his infancy. My son turned out just fine. I honestly don't think that the color of the bottle could possibly make a difference. You can't protect your child from everything, worrying about the color of a bottle and how it will affect your child seems silly. You should probably have a talk with your sister. Tell her you appriciate her advice, but you would like to make your own desicons regarding your child's well being. There's no right or wrong way to love your child.
