Mine was the same way until my husband took it apart and I cleaned it. No problems with that or putting it back together and now it's clean.
I have a Frigidaire Oven and some streaks and stains have gotten in between the double glass door. There is no way I can think of to take the darn thing apart and clean it ... the streaks are driving me crazy and haunting me at night :-) Any advice? I may just need to call the company!
I got my pink tools out and took the darn thing apart! It was actually quite easy and my double oven looks great! Thanks :-)

Sooooo funny that you ask. I bought a new oven last December. Well something over ran a pot and then went across the glass and over the front. There's a space between the two glasses. So I asked my husband do you think you can take that door apart so I can clean it. He said sure. He took it apart and I cleaned it. Just like that. He's putting it all back together and all the sudden I hear this loud POP. And then I hear glass going everywhere. :0 !!!! I go in there and he's sitting in front of the oven with a million .... no 2 million pieces of glass surrounding him, on him, behind him holding a screw driver attached to nothing now. I'm like OMG what happened? He says "I don't know I was tightening it up and that was it." So now Im trying to sweep it up around him so he can stand because he's in socks. lol So funny. While Im sweeping I look up on the counter and there is a piece that was suppose to go into the top of the door and be the in-between for the two glass panels. I say "Maybe this is the problem?". What a day. It took two days to order a new door at about $120.00.
The glass is clean now... :)
P.S. I don't want to deter anyone from taking the door apart. It really is a simple task of unscrewing and remembering to put back EACH piece. Those spills are just so ugly. So have confindence.

This is what the best vent fan manufacturers recommend spraying into the fan & letting drip out into the grease cup... it's a safe cleaner and it cuts grease like nobody's business!
So - I hope that you're able to take the door apart (and successfully put it back together again...) Or, you could try spraying the SG down between the panes then rinsing with (soft/purified) water so you don't get any water spots?
Good luck!
Congrats on being a SAHM now! That's awesome.
J. I could have wrote this!! I have the same oven and I must have spilled goo inside it. Its driving me nuts too. I asked my husband to take it apart so I could clean it and he said no. =(. The only fix I came up with is to put hand towels over it. I am very excited to read your responses! Good luck with yours!
There are screws on the inside of the glass door facing the inside of the oven or on the sides of the glass. you must be careful but you inscres and then clean it. I clean mine once a year. If you have the manufacturing manual that will also help. You may search the web for the manufacturers phone number have the model number and ask them how.
we have a different brand but ours is like that too. so let me know if you get some advice.

Just a note about the Frigidaire Oven - I bought one about six months ago. The salesman at Lowes swore it was a CONVECTION oven, but when it was delivered there is no convection feature - what it has is a "quick bake" feature, which has a fan like a convection oven. But it does NOT work like a real convection oven. It's pretty bad. I have to bake everything on the top rack, even when it's on quick bake mode, so the bottom doesn't get burned. I recommend you NOT buy a Frigidaire with the fake convection feature.
I took mine apart and put back together with no problem. Just make sure to keep a bowl handy to drop the screws into as you take them out. It did not take too long and my peace of mind once it was clean was well worth it.
I had the same problem and it also drove me crazy for a long time. Then one time I was cleaning the rest of the door and accidentally dripped more water into the door. I saw it run right down and out the bottom. So I realized I could spray water into the door on purpose. I was able to get enough water in there to get rid of the white drip that had been making me crazy. It still isn't clean and nice looking and my door does not come apart either. But I have considered taking the door off and forcing a water hose through there. Check to see if you have open holes at the top of the door. I guess I'd say they look sort of like grates. I haven't called the company either. But someone must know! :)
