Cleaning a Granite Shower

I use antibacterial fantastic lemon scent on my granite, have used it for over 8yrs, I also have a squeegie that I use after every shower, I clean every 3-4 mnths and I have had no problems with bacteria or molds, I spray a fantastic on the floor once a mnth and have a rag I throw down and use my feet to scrub, takes a minute or two, very easy, My bathroom is always smelling fresh cause the fantastic is a nice fragrance.

I would start at a google. I always forget this resource. DIY.com (do it yourself). I would be concerned with pitting. Also call a local counter top manufacturer or retailer like Home-depot who deals in Granite on a regular basis. Hope this helps.

I know there are products like 409 on the market that will work, but not like you describe- the spray it and leave it stuff. I would check on the internet for the closest dealer in the shower granite, then call them ( or the company that makes the stuff) and ask for recommendations. S.

At World Market there is this really awesome cleaner from Sprayway that I use on my granite countertops. It's a foam spray stuff called "Granite and Marble Cleaner". I think it's only $4.99. I use it almost every day, and I have no pitting or scratching or anything on my countertops. I'm sure that it would work just as well for showers.

I have a granite and marble shower and I use all the Shaklee "Get Clean" products on it. It cleans the shower really well and is completely safe and green. I used to work at a tile and stone supply store years ago and would recommend calling a place that specializes in stone rather than Home Depot. You may get someone there that has no idea what they are talking about whereas a store that only deals with tile and stone will definately be knowledgable about products to use. I can't remember but I don't think Scrubbing bubbles would be safe, I'd be afraid of damaging the stone. They will also have a variety of products that you can use safely. Whatever you do, don't use CLR or Lime-away or anything similar on stone.

My granite guy told me not to use any granite cleaners that are on the market. My terrazo (similar, a pored marble surface) told me to use a "ph neutral" cleanser.

Try using something that's all natural like the method or seventh generation products they work great and are virtually harmless to person and surfaces.
