Cirque De Soleil for a 4 Year Old?

Oh! We LOVE Cirque :) :) :) and have been taking kiddo since he was around 4 as well.

What we do (before every show) is to go to their website and watch clips of the show that we're going to. If we look at other shows, we make a big deal of the fact that they're different AND hype the one we're going to. We also kept up a running dialogue during any point where it was allowed (seating, during audience participation, clowns, etc.)

It will be great fun. Enjoy yourselves. And remember: Circus, not opera, even though it's posher than Ringling Bros. :) :) :)

My sons were 5 and they loved it...mind you that the shows are pretty long, so come prepared for that...but other than that, have a great time!!

I think it is fine, I've been and I didn't think it was too scary for a 4 yr old. In fact, I was going to take my 4 yr old when I went but he got sick that day so couldn't come. I love the other persons advice of watching clips online. I would just explain that they are in costumes like Halloween and that it's all pretend. I'm jealous, I want to go, hehe :) Have fun!

Depends on which one. I think my kids would have loved to see O with us. Its exciting and majical. I think it depends also on their temperment. If they enjoy the movies...maybe this would be even more fun. We took our daughter to a local play to see Cinderella and she loved it. She was just 5 at the time.
