My sister had one and she loved it, but got rid of it because it was terrible in the snow:(
My husband and i are interested in the 300. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on this car good or bad. It is going to be our first big car purchase and i'm so nervous to pick a bad car. Please help!

My husband drives one (2007) and he really likes it. He is tall, so it is a comfortable car for him. I like it too, it rides very smoothly. We purchased ours at Carmax with 18,000 miles on it, so we saved a great deal of money over buying new. I know its been redesigned now though.
get the VIN on one and call it in to your insurance for a quote so you know what kind of an increase you will get.
also, my husband REALLY wanted one until we actually took it for a test drive, then he hated it! I can't remember really why but it was off his list. So test drive one and that will give you an idea, obviously, if you will like it or not. Good luck!
My SIL has one, the SRT8- an '06, I think. She's been really happy with it and she drives it hard. It hasn't had any major issues that I know of.
We have a 2005 300 Touring and we both love it. Its a very large car and is not hard on gas. It is also extemely solid so its helpful in case you were ever in an accident. I will say that because they are so large they have horrible turning radius and drive like a boat in small spaces. But very comfortable and a really nice ride ( I second the fact that because it is a rear wheel drive car its really not the best in the winter but after one season you get used to the cars capabilities)
Good Luck
i would check out the consumer reports car edition....that will help you as well make a good decision!!
The best thing you can do is go test drive LOTS of cars and see what is out there. I was dead set on a Toyota and ended up with a Ford because I was so impressed after test driving. Go drive EVERYTHING - or as much as you have time for! Also you should really look at cars that are last year's model or maybe a trade in. We got a fully loaded car with 8,000 miles about 40% below retail from the dealership because someone else out there buys a new car every year and trades in the old one. The car loses significant value as soon as you drive it off the lot. Good luck deciding!
