Im looking for the neighborhoods in our around the city that have amazing light decorations. I dont mind the suburbs right out of CHicago too, to walk down the street and look at them too.

There's a website that breaks down all the neighborhood light displays in the C. area: http://www.chicagolandchristmaslights.com/. Sauganash on the NW side is well-known for its lighting displays, and you can always see the Zoolights at Lincoln Park Zoo.

lincolnwood!!!!! its near skokie. dont know the exact blocks but they have been decorating for christmas in these neighborhoods forever (or at least since the 80's when i first saw them) they are incredible lights and decorations ever!!!! try googling for the decorations and go!! my children still talk about them and we havent been for at least 3 years. bring your camera!!! enjoy!
Licolnwood Towers (just West of 94) has beautiful lights every year! I would early, like this weekend, to see them though. The neighborhood is ALWAYS so congested the week of Christmas!!!
