Choosing Between Two ENT Doctors in Plano

We use Dr. Coffey and she is AMAZING!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE her! She has been such a big help and she is so sweet and so thorough. She is absolutely amazing! She performed surgery on my daughter (who was 3 1/2 at the time). She did tonsils and adenoids as well as sinus surgery and she has been SO SO SO much better since the surgery! Dr. Coffey was so great during the whole process too, she was happy to answer all of my questions and to sit and talk with me, she was wonderful. She is a great doctor! Good Luck!

Sorry for the late response - I just read this. We actually went to Dr. Matheny who is actually in Dr. Cobb's practice. We liked him a lot but had a few issues with his staff. Their practice does seem to be popular though, there are always tons of people there.

My kids see Dr Mehendle's wife Kim Mehendele in plano she is a pediatrician and we love her we are also going to see dr mehendele for our sons ears soon.

The ear tubes have been great for us...in case you even need them.

I'm not familiar with either one of these docs. We went to Dr. Mehendle in Frisco. He does his surgeries at Centennial Medical Center. You can google ENT of Frisco and he's got a website. He has a little girl about the same age as my daughter and is great with kids. Good luck!!

Not sure if you want other referrals but my son had his adenoids removed, then the tonsils a year later with Dr. Evan Bates out of Presby Plano (SW ENT). He is very no-nonsense and was awesome for my son's nighttime snoring and constant infections! Dr. Bates was referred to us by Dr. Mehendale and Dr. Frank at Willow Bend Pediatrics.

I don't know those doctors, but if you are willing to go to Med City Dallas, I highly recommend Dr. Timothy Trone; he is a pediatric ENT specialist. My girl had her tonsils out with him and she was dancing down the halls the next day. He and his staff are very caring. good luck.
