I have a 3 1/2 yr old and almost 5 month old and they go to Child Time off of Western Row. The Pre-school teacher (Heather) is the greatest teacher I have ever seen. It's much smaller than many other daycares and its nationally accredited. I highly recommend it.

I started my son at the Kindercare in Symmes Twp and I have no knowledge as to the preschool there but I had to pull my son out of the infant room. There is a teacher there who has been there 18 years (or something like that) and she has no children herself and she was terrible with my son. She has no sense of urgency about her and she acts like a burnt out employee. I was working from home at the time and was able to check on him often and every time I went in, he was crying. The last time I went in, he was screaming. I asked the teacher if he ate and she said "I was going to try that next" as he sat there screaming while she fed another child. It was 11:45am and he had not eaten anything since I fed him at 5:30am and he was only 8 months old... I did not like how the center handled it, so I removed him. He was only there for 2 weeks. But like I said, the other teachers might be better in the older children classrooms.

Heritage Presbitarian Church at Tylersville & Mason Montgomery Rd has a wonderful program, they may have openings now, or ask about a waiting list. Hope Church up the road offers preschool as well. Good luck.

I would suggest Kindercare in Symmes Township. It is not in Mason but it is very close depending on how far you live into Mason. If you are not familiar with Symmes Township it is at the Fields Ertle exit off of 71. My children attended Kindercare last year and I loved it! My daughter always came home with new knowledge. Now in Kindergarten, my daughter and the other children that attended Kindercare with her at that location are the only ones who could write their names correctly using both capital and lower case letters coming in the door. The Kindercare staff was very friendly and knowledable about Early Childhood Development and always willing to take time out to talk to you about your child. The staff is diverse and the center is as well. Now I am at home because I just had a baby but when I go back to work, I will definitly seek their services before any other. I would give this center 5 out of 5 stars! Good luck in your preschool search!
