Chest Exercise to Reduce Breast Size?

I used to be a 34B for a long time , until I started putting on weight. I also started on birth control pills around the same time, so not sure what caused it but my bra size went up to 36C. My breasts were sore while on those pills and I am guessing that caused it to grow, not sure.
Anyways I felt huge in a C cup. Hated it. And then I got pregnant. Now 3 years later I am in 36D. I thought it will get back to C after breastfeeding, but it didn't. I am still on the heavier side , have 10 lbs to go to get back to pre pregnancy weight. I read a lot on how the cup size might not go back to what it was inspite of losing weight , makes M. sad :(
I am curious to know other than just weight loss, are there any specific chest/ upper body exercises that would help with this issue. My breasts are huge n saggy. I would love to go down one cup size before I try for another baby. I really don't want to go for an even bigger bra following another pregnancy ... I used to hate when I went up from B to a C and now I would do anything to get back to a C atleast.

Do you know any thing other than breast reduction surgery .. any exercises that would help with cup sizes? My mom breastfed 2 kids and is still a 34B , I am the only one this huge in my family. Feeling depressed about it moms :(

What can I do next?

Overall weight loss is the only thing.
Toning all over might help you feel better about "them" too.
Good luck!

I have always been a C/D. Hate it. But, after 2 children and breastfeeding, they returned to the same C/D fluctuations that I always have had. It takes some time though, and I understand that for some people, they just stay larger. That wasn't the case for M..

BUT, what did and does still continue to cause M. to go up in size is to gain weight. There's a "sweet spot" that I hit that BOOM my bras just don't fit anymore. For M., it is somewhere around 153-155 lbs. When I get there, my D bras do not work. Period. I have to go DD, and increase band size. In fact, going up over that "sweet spot" is normally what prompts M. to reassess my body and diet/work out or whatever to drop back into my "good" range (140-145 lbs). When I am there, I can wear some Cs and D and go back to 34 or 36 bands.

Working out/exercises will not change your breast tissue (it's all fatty tissue)... but it can tone the underlying muscle tissue so that they LOOK different. The only thing to actually change the size of the fatty breast tissue is to lose weight. And you can't lose weight in spots. There's just no such thing to "spot" train for weight loss.

Typically, it comes off the reverse of the way it goes on. So if you tend to gain in the hips, then the waist, then the arms and THEN the boobs, then the boobs will deflate before the arms noticeably shrink, before the waist is noticeably smaller, etc.. They will all change, just some will be more noticeable sooner than others, and it's usually the exact reverse of putting it on.
I notice it in my waist first, but when my boobs need more bra, then it's time to work on it all. The first 5 lbs and boobs are happy again, but the waist will still be there unless I keep going.

Good luck.
Try to love your body. It's the only one we get, and it has nourished babies. :)

Your breasts would get smaller if you lost your weight. I think that the best way you can deal with it is to lose the weight. Wear sports bras while you exercise so that they don't flop around.

If you haven't gotten smaller after losing weight, then you may have to think about a reduction...

no, you can't spot-reduce. the only way to make your breasts smaller is to lose weight, and that will happen all over, with your breasts being partial beneficiaries.
you can do exercises to tone up the underlying muscles, of course. always a good thing to do.

They grow. They sag with gravity as your body ages. The only option now is surgery. If you want that younger looking body back that's what you'll have to do. Toning will do some lifting but I wouldn't imagine too much.

Some women gain a shoe size with every pregnancy. Some gain a bust size. Others get a bigger tummy and more stretch marks. Each have their own reward.

You might have saggy boobs if you hadn't had a single child too. I'd just look at the options and see if it's something you do or don't want to live with. One thing though. If you do opt for a breast reduction do it after your last child is born. The facts are that most women who have surgery cannot nurse a baby. They do try to save that as an option for any woman who'd like to try but it's much harder for them.

If you get pregnant again you're breast will change again too. So it's just better to wait until afterwards.

Exercise might help lift them a little, but it will not reduce their size. Only weight loss or surgery will do that.

Good luck.

Well I have good news and bad news. The bad news, can't make them smaller. I was a 36DD, lost 40 pounds, 32DD, they are here to stay..

The good news, I have been DD since my second and they have never gone bigger even with two more.

You can tone up the girls. Many years back I nursed and they grew and when I stopped they became saggy. Now later in life, they have firmed up quite a bit. The breast tissue changed and that is something that is not explained to women when they nurse.

Also as a woman, your body changes about every 7 years so what you were when you were 20 is not what you will be at 35. Stop trying to recapture the pre-pregnancy body. Dress your body for the size it is now. Stop stressing about what I used to be and embrace the you of now. Were clothing the flatters your present body. I would love to have my 23 year old body at 66 but it is not going to happen. I still wear a size 12 throughout the years. Once I went down to a size 7/8 dress I wore it once I think. I also went up to a size 16 or so (health issues). But my clothing size has stayed that size. A few added surgical scars and a few stretch marks and I live.

My styling is not the granny thing. I don't see that ever. I wear bright colors not much in black, grey, brown and navy.

Embrace life and live it.

the other S.

PS The only thing to tighten up the girls is surgery.

Wouldn't it be great if we could tone the breasts? Too bad they are full of fatty tissue...and not muscle. There is muscle behind them, but nothing that would "stand up" to any exercise.
Sagging happens, more quickly after babies. In my family, my mom is a 34 B, my oldest sister is a 36 F (yes F) my middle sister is a 32 A and I was a 36 F until I lost 40 pounds and now I am a 32 C. It is what it is.
I am sorry to say...we much just deal with it or surgery, that is it. :P

I think your best bet is cardio.. can't say it will diminish them completely, but being as breasts are primarily fatty tissue, usually if you lose body fat, they can be the first to go.. also, birth control can cause them to grow, which is why some women like BC.. however, you could switch to something else and maybe that would help..
try losing that last 10 lbs and see if it helps.. you d be surprise.. when I've gone down 10 lbs, I definitely have lose inches in the breast area..

You need to take a trip to Victorias Secret and get one of the sales associates to help you find a bra that fits you just perfect (EVEN if you don't buy it). Tell her what you just said to us, and she'll explain how there's nothing wrong with you, it's just your bra. SERIOUSLY! I have always weighed between 110 and 123. The 110 was when I was 21. Now I'm 40 and I weigh about 115 - 118. Before baby I was a B. Pregnant - C, first months nursing D (HOLY SCHMOLY!), after nursing - a very sad, saggy B for a year, and now for several years - a not too bad C. But every once in a while I have to change which style Of bra I wear because the girls decide to shift locations! When I explained to the Salesperson at VS that I thought I was crazy, she said everyone's body changes like that every year and there's not much you can do about it but buy a good bra to make them go where you want them to! So, yes, losing weight will definitely make a diff., but even if you exercise, they change again in some other way. And I lost weight and they got bigger! (If you're in the post nursing stage, pre-pregnancy stage anything can happen to them!)
