If you are looking for a gym that is family friendly the YMCA is great. The location in South Arlington has 2 fabulous kickboxing instructors. I usually work in at least one kickboxing class a week, and it definitely burns off the calories. I agree with the two below: weight loss has to be a well rounded approach. I have lost 40 lbs in the last 5 months, and kickboxing class has been a staple for me. I take some type of cardio class 4-5 times per week, and this has really helped boost my metabolism. Good luck!
