I am looking for a good, reliable mechanic in the Clearwater area that will not break the bank in labor cost. It could be a local shop, or your next door neighbor, as long as they know what they are doing.
I have used the same mechanic for the 8 yrs I have lived here. His name is Joe at Clearwater Radiator corner of Seminole and Ulmerton by Home Depot. He gives you quote to the pennies and is reliable. A great guy! I won't go to anyone else....###-###-####.

I go to a great repair show called Tip Top Toys. They are on the corner of US19 & Sunset Point Rd. on the little back road, I think it is called Harbor Circle. The owner Wayne is a friend of a family member. His shop does good and HONEST work. I am not sure what type of car you drive, but, Wayne is a certified Toyota mechanic and specializes in foreign car repair, although, I am sure he would do just fine on a Ford or Dodge!
Hi, I work for a parts warehouse and deliver to the garages in Largo and Clearwater. I know of several that have a good name. One is Clearwater Auto located off Hercules just north of the railroad tracks on the west side. Look for a deep wide ditch and his building is in the rear, I believe he has a sign.
Another one is Allstar and he is in Safety Harbor which will really appreciate your business. He is on 10th Ave just north of Main St.
Another one is Ice Cold Air that also does mechanical repairs other than Air Conditioning work they are noted for. Their labor rate is around $40 an hour I think. If you have trouble finding any one of these, email me at ____@____.com and I will get you additional info.
Depending on what you need done the Goodyear on East bay and blecher is a good shop to take your car to.

I know it is in Tampa (Town N' Country area), but I highly recommend TamBay Tire on Hillsborough Avenue, just west of Hanley Road. I have been going there for 20 years (my mom started me there at 16 when I got a car--she's been going there longer!) Jimmy is one of the owners and you couldn't meet a more honest guy. Last time I was in, I was talking to two other ladies in the waiting room and each of us had been going there for 15 years or more. I think that says alot. Their number is: ###-###-####.
We take our cars to Allan's Alley. It's a tiny little garage tucked back behind a store (check-cashing, I think) at 3430 East Bay Dr. in Largo. It's between Starkey and Belcher. Their number is ###-###-####. You'll never get an answer because it's just Allan & Howard working there, but Allan will call you back the same day or the next day at the latest. They're very fair and do good work.

Hello. There is an awesome mechanic of off sunset point and u.s 19. His name is wayne the number is 724-toys. He has been my mechanic for about 2 yrs now. I have really bad ocd when it comes to vehicles. He let me know what need to be fixed right away and what could "wait". I highly recommend him.
