I need your opinion on the best car booster seats that worked for you. I would really like to avoid my daughters head swaying back and forth while sleeping in a booster since boosters do not offer as much support in the head area as much as toddler car seats with the harnesses and pads. I constantly had to stop while driving my older son when he was aleep to adjust his head positioning.

I recently got my daughter the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1. It holds them in a 5-point harness until they are 65 lbs. Then it is a belt-positioning booster, THEN the back comes off & it's a backless booster. You don't say how old or how big your children are, but keeping them in the 5-point harness as long as the car seat allows is best. My daughter is only about 40 lbs right now & almost 5 years old. I estimate she'll be in a 5-point harness until... high school?? haha (Dad & I are both petite, with me only 5 ft tall)

How old is she? I love our graco nautilus it harnesses until 65 lbs, then goes to a booster and can also be used as a backless booster up to 100 lbs. My son's head does not seem to flop too much in this seat although their head flopping to either side will not bother t hem like it would if we fell asleep that way.

Check into the seats that have both the harness system but then convert to a booster. They seem to provide more head support.
