Your OB/GYN should give you some direction on how much weight is healthy for you to gain based upon where you started, your stature, etc.
Generally, an expecting Mom can consume ~300-350 extra calories/day to account for the energy needed for the baby to develop.
Fruit is not bad, but it is higher in carbs than veggies, so they need to be somewhat limited (you'll be checked for gestational diabetes in a few weeks). Meats are OK, but you'll need to be careful of consumption of certain kinds of fish, raw meats, and lunch meats (for fear of lysteria contamination). Chicken, pork, beef are all cook as long as they're cooked to medium or above.
I was constantly hungry in the first trimester, but as my babies grew, they pressed against my stomach, and I actually ate less. I gained 17 lbs with one child and 20 with another.
Good luck! Enjoy the food right now - no one will notice you're getting too much bigger
