I have heard many ads on the radio for the Brookstone Sona Pillow. They say it will stop the snoring and sleep apnea without a prescription. My husband suffers from this and I have seen mixed reviews so I am asking you guys if you have experienced this pillow and if you would recommend.
Thanks!!!

I don't know about the pillow, but my hubby was a "peel the paint off the walls" snorer. While he was working nights and I was working days, I could actually listen to what was going on while he was sleeping and it scared me to death. He would stop breathing, gasp for air, and sometimes even gurgle like he was drowning!!! After telling him this he talked to his doctor who sent him for a sleep study and determined he has extreme sleep apnea (so bad that surgery would not even work, because his brain tells him to stop breathing!!!). My hubby now sleeps with a c-pap machine that blows air into his mouth and nose in order to force him to breath. I guess with his diagnosis, I am very skeptical that just a simple pillow would work. You might want to speak to a doctor about the actual benefits of the pillow. Just my opinion.
Many times sleep apnea can be a sign of something serious. My son, now 15, had two surgeries in 2003, one for a deviated septum and one for Anold Chiari Malformation 1 both which can cause sleep apnea. Please have your hubby evaluated by a knowledgeable doctor. Best of luck!
There are 18 reviews of it on the Brookstone.com web site:

Not all the reviews are good.
Pls tell me about why you like the Arbonne business. I am hearing so much about it. Sorry I do not know about the pillow.
M.,
I don't know about the pillow but I know my Mom has lived with snoring for 25 years and she really wishes he'd have the surgery.
Your husband is young, maybe he'd be more amenable to surgery. My Dad's snoring is HORRID! If your husband isn't so bad, maybe the pillow will help.
There is also Breath Right strips and SnorEze Spray. Which help some.
Whatever you find out about this pillow would you let me know--we need this at my house...Elishea ____@____.com
