Bright Horizons in Schaumburg at Roosevelt University Campus

Has anyone had any experience with this daycare facility?
It seems to be the BEST daycare that I have found in the Schaumburg area.
I really like the principles followed at this school. There are no swings, bouncers for infants, they are encouraged to explore in more natural positions... tummy time, sitting up in a boppy, etc.
The curriculum for toddlers seems well thought out, etc. Continued ed for the teachers is mandatory.
I appreciate any feedback!
Thanks for reading!

My son goes to BH in Oak Brook and he have been very happy with it. Plus, my brother-in-law's nephew has been going to BH in Schaumburg for 5 years and they are also very happy with it. Good luck.

Hi M.-

I moved both of my children there from another Bright Horizons at my husband's work after I found it didn't serve my daughter's needs. We have used the Roosevelt one for the last 3 years, and have been VERY pleased with it. It is on the way to work for me, and it has worked out VERY well. My children (now 4 1/2 and 6) were always happy to go in, and we never had problems with drop-offs. Both of my kids started at the preschool level-I would have moved my youngest over sooner, but he was receiving therapy through EI, and the therapist had to see him at daycare (which was only 1 block away from the therapy center.)

Anyway, they were both in Cheetahs, and my oldest was in Lions for pre-K/kindergarten split. They have a good program, an open door policy, and have been very willing and cooperative when it has come to my children's needs. I also looked around, and found that this was the best, even though I also had access to the Motorola and corporate sponsored ones. The administration is terrific, and listens to parents with an open-mind. If there is ever a problem with a staff member, the administration really does want to know, and keeps any conversations confidential.

If you have any specific questions I can answer, please feel free to send me a message. I would highly recommend ECEC....

My son goes to BH in Rosemont and we LOVE it! It really is a superb daycare. I couldn't ask for more involved and loving teachers. In the infant room, they hold the babies during feedings, rub their backs when falling asleep, play with them and give them lots of personal attention. You get a report everyday on what your baby did, etc. It really is worth every penny! My son is in the toddler room now and he does art projects everyday, the teachers read and sing, they kids also get some indepandant play towards the end of the day. I really can't say enough about Bright Horizons. They are really amazing! Go for it..You won't regret it!

My son goes to BH in Deerfield. We love it. The teachers are so nurturing and caring. My son seemed to like them better than us. Now he is in the toddler room and we love the curriculum. Everyday they read books, do an art project, teach math skills and sensory projects. He is learning so much. The facility is so bright and cheery. It is well worth the money. No other day care can compare.
