A good friend of mine is getting married in November. This is the friend that always goes out of her way for everyone else. She is the last one in our group to get married, so for all the other bridal showers and bachelorette parties she has gone above and beyond. She is very crafty and makes real cakes, towel cakes (similar to diaper cakes), decorative fruit bowls, like what you expect from edible arrangements, "adult themed" cookies, jello shots, etc. She does all the decorations and party planning. She is such a good friend to everyone she has been a maid of honor in 6 weddings and has 11 bridemaids herself. We really want to do something over the top for her as far as what she has done for us, but unfortunately for her, we are not too crafty or imaginative, so I thought I would turn to you guys. Any suggestions on what we can do to make this amazing for her? She really does deserve it.

A hollywood night theme is really popular right now so most party stores have a wide range of decor.
Also, have you thought about renting a limo bus? They usually seat up to 18 people, so you can fit the whole bridal party in one vehicle and have a great night out on the town... get bridesmaid shirts and a tiara and shirt for the bride, and make her a suck for a buck shirt by attaching lifesavers or dum dums to it, as you go to different bars, people will pay her 1 dollar each for a peice of candy they can "bite" off of her shirt.
If she is not a party kinda girl, think about a girls spa day... you can make arrangements at most day spas for a package priced per person for massage, mani, pedi, facial, etc. and have lunch brought in by a nice restaurant or her favorite food!
I did both of these parties for my cousins fiance a couple of months ago, the spa day was absolutly wonderful, and we did that the day of the rehearsal dinner to relax her, we had the girls night out about a month before the wedding so there were no hangover issues.

Candy buffet tables have become popular in the last couple years (at least around here). Basically gather a whole bunch of pretty dishes/vases of all different sizes and fill with all different candies usually trying to stay with whatever color theme you have. Then you give everyone little bags and let them go and fill up a bag to take home. The tables can really look unbelievable.

You could make her something.....even if you all go together and make her a scrapbook with stuff of you guys over the years, or pics of her and her hubby to be............
Can anyone do PowerPoint? Make a slide show of her and him from when they were young until now..........
As for themes.........what do they like to do together.....you could do a movie theme, a romance theme, sports, whatever they like.........have fun, be creative with your ideas, even if you can't make things, that doesn't mean it can't be fun............you can also put this into Google and get some great ideas........Bridal Shower themes ...........

The drag show at The Rose room inside of S4 on Cedar Springs is SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! We did that for my bach party and it was a blast!!!
my sister just got married. her bachelorette party was fun. my sister ordered t shirts that said kerry's bachelorette party on it with a martini glass. they were cute. my sister (the bride) had same shirt but had random guy's names on them. th epoint was to find a guy with that name and have him sign it and how many names left unsigned she had to drink a shot for. we went to drag show as well which was fun and also dinner.
