I'm sure this request has gone out more than once, and I apologize for asking again, but what sort of ideas do you wonderful ladies have for a girl's birthday party? She is turning 6. She wants to do Chuck E Cheese, which we will do if nothing else comes up, but everyone seems to be doing Chuck E Cheese this year for birthday's (we just got invited to our 2nd one in the same week.) We live in Argyle and we are willing to travel a little bit, no more than 30 minutes because I don't think people will come if it is too far away...

My daughter will be 7 in January and we are doing an Art themed party this year. I am going to let her decorate a white sheet anyway she wants so we can use it as a backdrop to take pictures at her party, have different art projects for them to paint as well as have everyone decorate a piece of something to use to make her a blanket or quilt as a keepsake. it will be a messy party but i'm sure everyone will have fun.
How about a jumping party? there is a place in Arlington that has a bunch of bounce houses and the kids have a blast there. My 3 year old neice and 9 year old son absolutely love it there. They even have events that you can go to, to even check it out. Hope it helps. There is going to be one I think this friday and they are giving away free birthday parties and other items as well. It is from 7:30pm until 10pm.

I know there is a store in Grapevine that would do birthday tea parties. The girls would get dressed up, have a fashion show and then have tea. I've seen other places that do this sort of thing and I'm sure there might be one in Denton.
You could take them to a salon or beauty school for a little spa party - I know of some who have done a package where the girls have their nails painted and their hair braided or styled and their photos taken after.
Check with Anna or Phil at Spa - a School in Lewisville on 121, it is a great beauty school. Or Kathryn Szama at Main Street Salons in Lewisville, she may come to your house and I know she used to do party packages for little boys and girls.
My daughter is turning 5 soon and we are having a party at the Flower Mound Pumpkin Village (www.flowermoundpumpkinvillage.com). I couldn't bring myself to have yet another "princess" party and this way her brothers and other boys can enjoy it as well. They have a petting zoo, pony rides, bounce houses, small carnival rides, hay rides, a hay maze, and of course, lots of pumpkins! The best part is that it's relatively inexspensive. Most everything is free (only a small cost for a pony ride or carnival ride or to buy pumpkins, but the small one's are like 50 cents) and all profit goes to charity! You can reserve a covered picnic table for $25, but I've heard you don't need one. And they even have very affordable birthday packages. $6 per child gets you a small pumpkin, hotdog, chips, drink and 3 ride tickets. Good luck with your party!
Little girls LOVE Libby Lu in the Vista Ridge mall in Lewisville. It's PRICEY (25-35 dollars per girl depending on your package). My 8 year old did her's this year in August and she was allowed to invite only three other friends because it was so expensive. She also had a spend the night with these three girls.
