Wanting to know where the best schools are for my preschooler to go and continue on through the upper grades. I plan on moving to the area (whether public or private) in which that school is so that she can grow up with all the kids her age.

Lovejoy ISD... is supposed to be really incredible. Other than that Coppell, Southlake. They're all pretty expensive areas to live, though. We're looking into Coppell, for the future. Our little guy is only 18 months old, so we have a bit of time.

My son goes to Parish Episcopal school. We LOVE it. It starts at PreK1 (3 year old class) and goes all the way through 12th grade graduation. It is broken down into two campuses, the lower campus is at Hilcrest and Spring Valley, the kids go there from PreK1 until 2nd Grade. They graduate to the Upper Campus, which is the old Exxon Mobil building on Midway, and go there from 3rd until 12th. http://www.parishepiscopal.org/

The Richardson school district (in Dallas County) with Brentfield Elementary, Parkhill Jr. High, and Pearce High School is the best public school in the Dallas area. The zip code is 75248, and you can find some affordable homes in that area.

I am so in love with my sons school. The school starts at Pre-k 4 and goes up to grade 8. Holy Rosary Catholic School. My son is only 4 and his teacher is already teaching them phonics sounds and she says that she hoping by the end of the year some of the student should be reading. It is a really awesome school. You do have to put in at least 40 volunteer hours a year but that is because they want parents involved in the school.

T.,
Last year we moved to North Dallas (Frankford and Preston, zip codes: 75252, 75287). The school district is Plano ISD. You have the best of both worlds here...good schools and central location. This area is nestled around George Bush and Dallas North Tollway...so you can get anywhere really fast. Oh and did I mention, some great shopping too!! Definitely an area to consider. Let me know if you have any questions.

You should check out www.savvysource.com. There are reviews of preschools in Dallas and Frisco, and many of the ones listed there go through elementary and/or high school. Good luck!
