Does this really work? How much am I supposed to give my 20 month old who is more likely to swallow than spit?
Did the pediatrican tell you to do this? If not I wouldn't. I would call and ask them what they recommend for his sore throat.
My son was given a similar "Magic Swizzle Mouthwash" when he had HFM. It did work. If you are unsure about the amount, call the ped's office.
My doc told me to do this once but I didn't because she started feeling better. I would check with your doc to see how much to give.
I've never heard of doing this, especially for a toddler. When my 2 yr old has a sore throat we make sure he drinks extra and we give him popsicles, jello, applesauce, yogurt and things like that.

And if you can give this mixture, and if it is safe or not.
How do you know your baby has a sore-throat? Your child said so?
Or did a Doctor say so?
Was your child tested for Strep or anything?
I wouldn't do anything or give anything like that unless your Pediatrician specifically said its okay.
Never heard of doing this for a sore throat but we use to give this mixture for a condition in the mouth when I worked at the pedo dentist. And i forget the measurement of both. But I am thinking it is not for a sore throatwho told u to do that? Just curious? :) L.
