Hi Moms- My 5 1/2 year old daughter will be starting ballet classes next week and I wanted to know if anyone knows where I can get her dance gear (leotards, tights and split sole ballet slippers) in the San Fernando Valley area. Preferably Reseda, Tarzana, Northridge and surrounding areas.

Hi K.. You can get that kinda stuff at target now. And the ballet shoes at payless shoes. Have fun!
Marshall's (tutu's and fancy pink loetards) , Dance Apparel Woodland Hills(huge place, discount stuff) , Target (has the tights and basic leotards w/sheer skirt attached)
For this age, because they can be so hard on their clothes, Payless is a great option for shoes and tights and Target also offers tights and many cute leotards. My 4 1/2 year old is taking ballet and half the girls in her class wear leotards from Target.

I bought it from ebay but shipping takes longer esp. if it's overseas. you can get it from walmart or kmart from $7.99-$12.99(leotards) or target but they're more expensive. ballet shoes from payless ($17.99)

They're the best. That's where I get all of my daughters clothes and shoes.
