A., Arbonne has some great products, but like the Dr.says its all normal and will go away some time after the baby is born-hopefully. You can take a look at my web site and email me for Nov specials. Good luck www.pattyheder.myarbonne.com
I have always had clear skin but now that I am in my 2nd trimester my back and chest have broken out with back acne all over, also a little on my face near my hair line.
My doctor said it is normal and to use an acne medicine, any suggestions.
I also have dry skin and this time of year my skin is really itchy!!
Thanks everyone for your advice, I will try one of the products and see if it improves, most of my shirts are v-neck so i'd like to clear it up on my chest at least!!

Hi A.- I have always had back acne, it was at it's worse with my second pregnancy. I came out here and asked for advice, I tried a few things and have found that PanOxl worked the best for me, I have never had a clear back until now and it works very well on my face. Good luck with clearing up and with the new baby, being a mom is amazing!!
Hi A.,
My 14 year old daughter had similar trouble on her back during volleyball season and it was Arbonne to the rescue! Arbonne has a masque that is a combination of exfoliatiion, clay and ramping up microcirculation to purge toxins from the skin. It's a great product and the active ingredient is a natural enzyme. . .unripened papaya.

Have a great day!
I'm a mother of two teen daughters and a 10 year old son. Products that are good for the skin and body are a priority for our family.
I like everyone's ideas. I've had a similar problem but what worked best for me was:
1) changing laundry soap
2) scrubbing daily with a loofa or bath brush
3) Clearasil but only at night- it bleaches so I had to wear a white T-shirt and used a white pillow case on my pillow and washed well in the shower the next morning so it didn't bleach my clothes
4) I also made sure not to wear a shirt twice without washing it in between (i.e. pajamas that I'd wear multiple times in a week before I'd wash them) so instead I'd wear a fresh t-shirt to bed every night.
It helped my chest and neck a lot; my back was never clear but definitely better.
Good luck.
Hi,
My dermatologist suggested Cetaphil face wash (and I think they also make a body wash/bar soap) - twice a day. Follow with 2% salicylic acid face pads like Stridex. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I always had good luck with Proactiv solution. www.proactiv.com It has a lotion that fights the acne, but doesn't dry you out.
Hi A.,
I don't know if this is your problem, but it was mine. I used to have bad acne on my back and hairline in high shchool. I just figured it was part of life. I had been using very cheap shampoos and conditioners, like Suave, White Rain, and Vo5. When I started working and could buy my own supplies, I started buying more expensive ones like Panteen and Garnier. My acne started to clear up almost immediatly. Again, I don't know what you use, but switching might do the trick.
A....I'm pregnant too, and my skin is exactly as you describe yours!! I feel like I'm 16 again! UGH!! Anyway...I have just been suffereing with it, so I don't have any good solutions for it, but I wanted to let you know you aren't alone ;)
Good luck with your pregnancy!
Dear A.,
The one and only acne medicine I will ever recommend to anyone is Pro-Active. This stuff W O R K S !!!!
Good luck,
S.
There's another product called Acne Free that you can get at any mass-market store like Wal-Mart or Target. It's the same as Proactive Solution, but I think cheaper.
Have you tried tea tree oil? It is natural, so it won't dry out your skin like a lot of those "medicated" products. A lot of those should not be used while pregnant anyway. Exfoliating a few times a week with a scrub is also important. We carry a tea tree oil soap through The Body Shop that's inexpensive and can be used on your face and body. I would love to send you a free sample of the products. Let me know :-)

I had terrible acne on my back when I was pregnant too. I never found anything that completely got rid of the problem, but daily scrubbing with a loofah and neutragena body acne wash seemed to make it better. Good luck and congratulations on you pregnancy!!
