How about "J' Names.....John, Joshiah, Jinger, John David, Jedidiah, Jana, ......Just a thought.
MMMMargaret.
We are expecting baby #3 in May and are having an impossible time agreeing on a name. OK...having a hard time even coming up with names. We are sticking with our "M" theme. Our oldest daughter is Morgan, youngest is Macie. We also have 2 female dogs, Marley & Millie. We don't know if baby #3 is a boy or a girl, so we need to prepare names for either.
Any unique, classy, original names out there that any of you Mamas can suggest? Thanks!
PS - We are trying to stay away from the common/popular names like Michael or Matthew or Madison, etc.
It's a BOY!!! Mitchell Jackson G. was born May 10th!
How about "J' Names.....John, Joshiah, Jinger, John David, Jedidiah, Jana, ......Just a thought.

Nameberry.com is a wonderful web site. It has tons of names that you can filter by the Letter M and by whether you want the name to be unique or not. I would highly recommend it.
How about M.? Sorry, had to say that.
Some other ideas: Mya Mia malena Miriam Mikala for girls
For boys: Marus Mikhal
Best resource ever is a book called "The Baby Name Wizard." There's a Web site, too, but the book is better. IIt might be at your library, or cheap on amazon.com. t will help you coordinate brother/sister names and figure out what styles of names you love or hate--it's so much more helpful that reading through a dictionary of random "M" names.
Best wishes!
We just went with Monroe for a middle name (born yesterday, signed birth cert today!).
Maya was on our list for girls.
Also like Miles, Milo.
Good thing you're getting this together early. My husband kept putting off talking about names and we spent over an hour today at the whiteboard in the hospital before being discharged!! He is our third so you would think hubby would know better! :)
Congrats and best of luck!
My favs: Meredith and Marshall
Marin, Marlys, Mathilda, Mabel for a girl. Miles, Mitchell for a boy?

My first name begins with an "M" so I like what you & hubby have done so far! For a 3rd girl please consider the following:
These are the first names and not shortened versions,
Maddie, Margo, Maxcine
For boys names:
Marco, Mario, Max
Please keep us posted on what you guys decide! Thanks so much,
Mary
How about Mae for a girl
We too have a M theme going on with our children (as I came from a family with just M in their names thought it would be fun to continue)
in my family we have M. (me), Melissa, Matthew, Michael, and Mark
we named our daughters Mina (as in Wilhelmina but didnt' like the full name so we just took Mina) and other daughter is Maia (as in Maya or Maja).. if we were to have a boy we were going to name him Max.
I've always been partial to Madeline, Molly, and Mackenzie.
Mollie, Max, Mitchel, Manuel, Maddox, Macon, Mackenzie, Melissa, Missy, Maleesa (my sister)...
What are your families nationalities? You can check baby web sites and check under those countries for something unique.

Hi,
I love Maeve for a girl. I also really like Mallory and Matilda.
Boys are tougher.......
Babycenter has a good "baby name" list that you can enter a letter, heritage, gender, etc. We used that a lot when researching names.
Here are some ideas:
Boys - Maxwell, Mark, Marcus
Girls - Melissa, Maggie, Megan
How about Max, Malachi or Micah for a boy? For girls you could also use Micah (or spell it Mikah), Mackenna, Maya and Maggie are all adorable. These would be my tops if I was stuck on "M"! Congratulations and good luck!
Matteo - boy (I love this - my husband doesn't - good thing we had a girl, lol)
Miriam - girl (I know a little girl named Miriam - there is something so sweet and feminine about that name on her!)
I know that I like the name Morgan and it can go for a boy or a girl. There is also Mason, Michelle, Molly, Mandie, Mia, Miya, Malcom, or even Mary Ellen.
I hope that this helped. We decided an the name Caleb James for our first son who is due 4/8/10. Good luck
My BFF's little boy's name is Malcolm. I love Maggie (margaret) for a girl.
Not sure if this was mentioned but McKenzie or Mackenzie for a girl... good luck!
We didn't stick with the same initial for each child. For the boys we picked two M names and then two J names...its easier to get the right one when called.

Good luck and congratulations on #3!
My votes are:
Miranda, Milena (Milayna), Marina, Marcia, Marlo
Mason, Marcus
Maeve, Mattea, Mia, Mara
Matteo, Marcus, Miles, Mitchel
Melina! (for a girl)
Not to sound too proud, but that's my name, I'm 37, and I've met less than 5 people my entire life with that name... yet it is fairly simple, and similar to other names people know-- Melinda, Melanie, Melissa. I was named after Melina Mercouri, the Greek actress/ politician, so the name has an interesting history (depending on what your interests are...)
Good luck!
Mattan "Mah-tawn" is Hebrew for "gift" and is used for both boys and girls (mostly boys). I also love Mathias for a boy and Mia for a girl.
I didn't read down all the suggestions so there may be some repeats!

A fun and different yet classy boys name is Maguire. We know a little boy Maguire and I think it is a strong masculine name. How about Mia or Maya for a girl??
I definitely do not recommend Mica for a boy or a girl. All of a sudden there are so many Mica's in town. Suddendly it is really trendy like Aiden etc..
Mallory, Molly, Madeline, Meredith, Maureen, Maggie, Mia
Max, Mitch, Miller,
Good Luck
Mikyla, Meridith, Madison, Mason, Merritt
Meredith for a girl, and McGuire for a boy If we have another girl, she will be Meredith Kathleen.....
So hard to pick out names without knowing the last name....for girls I love M. and Mila. I like traditional boys names so can't help you there.
My nephew just a had baby boy not too long ago and they named him Mercer. They also have another son named Maddox. Mitchell is another good boy name. Sorry, I have no girl names to offer....
Good luck and Congratulations!
Someone posted this site before and I just got off of it. It is great to help weed out popular names. www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames
Maurice, Magdeline, Monte, Mona, Mildred
My son is "Maysen"...but the name could work for a girl, too. Good luck!
Hi,
Just wanted to share my name with you. My grandmother was Meda (no middle name) and my mom was M. Eloise. When I was born I was named M. Meda. (double M!!) Mama said she did consider Meda M. also. I have never heard the name Meda except for Grandmother and me. No one else in our family has used the name either. Also, since I am 57 years old and Meda was my GM that tells you how old the name really is! Good luck finding that perfect name. M. Meda
Our little girl is named "Megan Brielle" :)
I love the name Maya for girl. I have 2 different friends who named their girls Moira and Moorea. For a boy, Marcos or Marcus.
Marcie
I looked in the Bible
how about brody, logan, or benjamin and for a girl michella, Julianna, or Ella
Hi
I counted the letters from A to I and A to O and calculated the difference, and worked out that you could have baby names that start with MU. So here are a few for you:-
Girls - Mulan, Mutya and Muriel
Boys - Mulder, Munro and Murdoc
Hope this helps you.
M.
Girl - Maddie, Misty, Maggie
Boy - Micah, Mitchell
I like Margaret and Maura for a girl or Micah and Mitch for a boy.
I like Melody for a girl. For a boy I have no idea...
My sister and brother-in-law are also going with M names. so far they have Miana (girl) and Milo (boy)
my daughter's name is marissa and I love it! Also, what about Mia? Very feminine and different. Keep us posted and good luck!
A friend of mine is named Miya (pronounced maya) and I love that for a girl. Mason is a great one for a boy, although you have a Macie, so don't know if that would work for you.
