It was a BLAST (and sold out)!!! My kids dressed themselves in "disco princess" garb as did a lot of other kids. They gave ID bracelets at the door for security purposes (great idea!) and they served FREE snacks of cheese, crackers, fruit and vegs platters, chips & pretzels, hummus and other dips, Hersey kisses and juice boxes. Plus they gave each kid a favor bucket filled with bubbles, a beach ball, music CD, and some other stuff. There was a photographer taking pics and uploading them to a laptop so you could view yourself (and purchase your pics online). The place was super clean and friendly and the dance floor was stocked with hula hoops, scarves and egg shakers. The kids had a ball with these! The only thing I want to warn you about was the noise level. It was as loud as a regular (adult) nightclub and one of my kids felt really uneasy on the dance floor -- where the music was loudest. Even downstairs at the "chill out area" it was pretty loud for little ears. BTW, the music and DJ rocked! The kids and parents danced to YMCA, Last Dance, Billy Jean, and a ton of Bee Gees hits. Oh, and even though it says it's appropriate for ages 0-7 years, I think 3-6 years is a better fit.
I would totally go again! Worth the $13 EACH tix charge.
P.S. I went dressed as a "disco Mom", but was disappointed that no other moms came dressed up for the event. :(
