Vomiting after a hit to the head can indicate something more than a bump, could just be a minor concusion - I would take him to the ER, yes. I hope everything is ok. Please let us know when you can. Stay calm.
my son just hit his head on the tile he's 18 months. he cried at first but now has vomiting, waiting for the doctor to call back, but sometimes that can take forever. should i just run him to the er? or wait for other symptoms? i've never had this happen to either of my kids so not sure what to do.
So baby is fine!!! thank god... i did take him to the er the ct scan was fine. but at the same time he came down with a bad virus so i was back at the er yesterday. all in all, he's doing much better and home with me!

Hit his head and is vomiting. I'm hoping with all hopes that you took this child to the E.R.
I completely agree with the other posters. Vomiting after a fall is a symptom requiring a trip to the ER. Please go quickly if you haven't already. Please update us on what happens. I will keep your son in my prayers.
Hi E.. While i am not a medical expert, If your child is vomiting after such a fall, from what I have read, I would calmly take him to the er. Take care and keep us posted.
Yes ER NOW! Vomiting can be a symptom of a serious head injury.
RUN to the er. Same thing happened to my 11 mo. and he seemed fine but vomited 3 days later....skull fracture & subdural hemotoma.
If I had not pursued the dr ( and I went to the er 3x before he was admitted) God knows what would have happened.
Vomiting is one of the signs of concussion.
Go.
get him there asap ,this is one sign he has a head/brain injury. Have dealt with this twice . c s
ER - now - vomiting is a significant sign of trauma to the brain.

If he is vomiting, take him to the ER NOW! You need to go, that is a sign of a serious head injury.
