Hi Mama's! Where have you taken your baby boys for their fist haircut? He is almost 10 months old and has stranger anxiety. I live in Carrollton so I'm looking for somewhere in the Lewisville, Carrollton, Plano area that you would recommend.

I took my son to Sharkeys. Not sure if they have one in your area. I'm in McKinney. They have cars or jeeps for the kids to sit in, movies to watch. It really distracts them from the cutting. They will save a small piece of hair for your baby book. A great first experience.
You should try cool cuts for kids, there is one at the corner of Old Denton and Hebron in the Albertsons shopping center. You can google it and get info on it. My son had separation anxiety from 10 months to 2 years so I know exactly how you feel. Good Luck and I hope this helps.

Darlynn at Kids B Kids in Plano at Independence and Parker. She's done a LOT of first haircuts. We always go there then walk around the corner to get pizza & rootbeer at Schlotszky's.
