Hi ladies,

I recently found out that I am having a precious baby boy, with that being said I am needing some help finding a name for him. My daughters names are Sydnee and Carly, so I am wanting something that has the "y"/ "ee" sound at the end. I have thought of some but do not like any of them ex Rylie, Weslee, Bobby, and Casey. So I am needing your help in finding the perfect name for. (I guess it really doesn't have to go with my girls names but it would be nice if it would.)

Thanks

What can I do next?

If you choose Rylie, please spell it Riley. I knew a little boy spelled Rylie, and everyone who didn't know him would look for a little girl.

If I had it my way, I would have had a Coop, a Trip and a Wylie!

~Wylie fits with your 'ee' sound and you NEVER hear it!

I had to compromise on the names with the hubby so we have a Wyatt...but he will always be a 'Wylie Wyatt' to me :)

I like Matthew James or Matthew Charles...you could call him Jimmy or Charlie or Chucky.

Just a side note..Charley is normally a girl's spelling.

Anthony or Tony, Jamie, Mikey (short for Michael of course), Mickey, and Pauley are some others.

Personally, I prefer strong male names. I'd probably name him something traditional like John and nickname him Johnny; Daniel, and call him Danny.

How about having a name you like and using the nickname with the ee/y feel? While Bobby is cute for a little boy, he may want to use Bob or Robert when he gets older (I knew a guy named Robbie). There is Daniel (Danny), etc.

Rylie and Weslee are great! Love them both... but I would not spell them that way, however; I prefer them spelled Wesley and Riley/Ryley (more traditional), which is better for a boy's name. Trust me.

How about Colby or Mackenzie? I think you're going to have a harder time coming up with a boy's name ending in ee/ie than a girls name as most of the time they would be nicknames (i.e. my son's name is Michael but we call him Mikey, but all of his friends just call him Mike).

*A "y" sound at the end of the name, I think, is a feminine or youthful sound. Maybe for the boy, you can break from the "y" sound completely?
