My baby girl has a bald spot on the back of her head. Is this from laying down all the time? I haven't noticed her having any hair loss. Is this normal?

Thanks Mamas,
J. :)

This is totally, totally normal.
Think about it. Babies spend most of their time laying on their back. They rub their heads around. They get little bald spots.
The hair grows back when they start spending more time on their tummies and rolling around a little more. She'll be fine.

Best wishes.

It's normal. It will grow back more when she is a bit older. Give her plenty of tummy time to help strengthen her neck and help from getting a flat head, but of course, still put her on her back to sleep.

Totally normal from lying down. As soon as she sits up, it'll start to grow back!

Its very normal. Since she is laying on her back, and rubbing her head back and forth on the crib sheet, that's why this is happening. Don't worry about it. It will grow back.

Normal. I call it the "baby mullet" phase because the hair under the little bald spot always appears so much longer - LOL!
