My 20 month old just made his first Art collection on my. I tried soap and water no luck. I also used the magic eraser and all that did was remove the paint from the wall. Any cool tricks? like mix baking soda and salt something like that. Help I dont want to have to paint over it.

Try tooth paste. Not gel, just plain old white tooth paste. I used Colgate because it was easy to find and my husband used it so it was always around.

When my son decided to do his artwork on the wall using a sharpie, my husband got it removed with rubbing alcohol.
Good luck

If you are talking crayon, candle wax remover has saved my furniture and walls. Try it. It works great! If you are talking markers, I would try hairspray. It also works on fabrics ....and with ball point pens.

If it's crayon, try warming it up slightly with a hairdryer-then warm, soapy water should take it off. Also, hairspray usually works too. If it's permanent marker, try some goof-off. If any of the artwork is on FLAT paint, your best bet is to paint over it-flat paint doesn't wash. I personally would just repaint it. Then buy only washable crayons and markers.

You did not say if it was crayol or marker. If it is crayon since they are mostly way you could heat a towel with your iron and the crayon will come off onto the towel.

Or you could do like I have seen other Mom's do. Just frame it!

TSP. You can find it at Home Depot! We recently put our house on the market and our realtor recommended it. I can't tell you how much this works. We used it to clean everything walls, cabinets, doors it is amazing! It didn't take off paint either and we were scrubbing pretty hard!

Good luck.
