Are You a SAHM Looking for Extra Money?

I might be interested in being "on-call" with you. Are you looking for someone long-term, or for the summer? The reason I ask is because during the school year, mine have activities on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. I stay-home with my two kids, 3-yr boy and 1.5-yr girl. Do you think you will need someone more mornings or afternoons? What do your boys like to do? Let's talk more!

I am a SAHM of a 3 1/2 yr old boy and a 1 1/2 yr old girl. How much notice would I have? How many hours a week do you anticipate needing someone?

A bit about me...I have been a SAHM on and off since my oldest was born. I have a degree in social work and my son was born 4 months premature (I tell you this to let you know that I have a lot of knowledge about growth and development in kids since I had to learn a ton about special needs - my son is now totally normal and doing great). I am a SAHM searching for the same thing. I was thinking that we could share someone. I have really been searching for a native spanish speaker for part time work in my home. I just found a lead through a service but not sure it will work out. I have two girls that will be one and three in July.

if you really need help on a mon or tues you and i might be able to work something out. i am a mom of 2 girls (3 and 1), i never work on mon or tues. if we could work something out for morning (breakfast, art project, movie and lunch) and then they might be ready for a nap. let me know what you think. thanks.

I read your post a couple of days ago , and your situation might fit what I've been thinking about for a part time job. I'm 44 with a 3 and a half year old boy, live in Roseville (but do a lot of shopping in Woodbury!), and would love a job where I could bring my son.
My schedule is very flexible right now, however in June we will start gymnastics classes on Tuesday mornings, and in the fall there will be preschool.
I must admit, I'm not very experienced in child care, except for my nephews, niece, and son. One question for you: approximately how many hours a week would you need help?
