Partnering to enrich the lives of children through art!

The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn will be giving a special preview of our
Squiggles to Grins art classes at their Birthday Bash Event on June 9th.

The classes will be held at the museum on Tuesday mornings beginning on
June 26th at 9:00 a.m.

The Squiggles to Grins classes will focus on 2 to 3 ½ year olds – YES, that very active, curious, and impatient age that will be challenged with a fast paced & fun combination of:

· Age-appropriate Art
· Original Songs
· Group Gross Motor Activity
· Poetry
· Story-telling

Each session will consist of 45 minute classes held once per week for 4 weeks.

Special Introductory Cost per 4 week session is $40.00 for museum members,
and $48.00 for non-members

In addition – after each session, the parent/child can stay to play
for no additional charge !

As with all KidzArt classes – all materials are included.

One certified instructor will be provided for each class of 15 students
One Parent/Adult Partner is required to stay with the child as this is a Parent/Child program

That is really a shame. With all the new housing and number of kids in Burbank, you wouldn't expect such crappy programing.

Anyhow, I see that someone already gave you advice on Bridgeview, so another option is the Oak Lawn park district. They've got tons of children's programs too. Good luck and have a great summer!

Hi...I would definitely give the Oak Lawn Park District a try! The book that arrives in the mail for residents is FULL of activities/programs/classes for any age or desire or need. There is a resident fee and non-resident fee...but I don't think the difference is huge. There are also churches that have VBS (free of charge usually) that last a week and are a half a day long. I think that some preschool locations (churches or schools) have summer "day camp" programs when the preschool program is out for the summer break. Good luck!

Bridgeview park district is having a summer camp for children from 3 years old up. It is about $150 for 6 weeks.

they have summer classes for kids.
