my husband applied for a truck driving position at waste management and has had 2 over the phone interviews already. the last one he was told by human res. that she is sending an email over to high up and he will get a call for a face to face official inverview. it has now been 2 days and hes getting worried. i told him to call and hes going to today. however im just wondering how long do you think it would take for a call back? anyone know from experience???

No personal experience with waste management although I do have a friend that worked for them in PA briefly...I think it took awhile for everything to work through the chain. Be patient.
But a follow up call is never a "bad" thing!

My husband isn't in waste management but works for UPS and a couple of years ago when the economy was horrible , many of his co- workers went to waste management. I don't think a couple days is a long time , especially if they are union, also. The process took a while for some of the guys he knew but they waited it out and made the move.
give it till 1pm if no call then give the hr person he was talking to a call. It is coming up on the holiday weekend so be patient you know how people get around holiday time. Just dont be a pill showing initiative is good.
