Anyone Using Those Post Baby Formulas?

My little guy is turing one, and I'm wondering if there are any thoughts on those formulas that are for 10 months and up? Are they good, or is it better to just jump to milk?

What can I do next?

I have two kids and received samples in the mail at some point in time. I jumped right into whole mild and never used. However, I might ask your pedi about it. My pediatrician never suggested if for my child; although they both were in the 95% for weight. I would definitely ask your doctor as I don't know which would be healthier.

Our pediatrician recommended that we just go on to milk. About 2 weeks before her first birthday the doctor had me mix milk and formula until she was completely on milk. She had no problems switching to milk. The two positives for us is it was way cheaper and easier. No more mixing bottles and if you are out and about and need milk...no problem! Worked for us....good luck.

My pediatrician said those are fine, but milk is good too. He said those are really best for kiddos who aren't getting good nutrition otherwise. Check with your pediatrician and see what he/she says.

With my older two, no we went straight to milk of course eased into it slowly but with our third we did because he was low weight and needed the calories, fat etc. If there is no need for it and your child is fine with milk I would not use it. Just mix 1/4 milk with 3/4 formula for a few days and go up to half and half etc plus introduce yogurt, cheese etc. If he is a picky eater and doesn't get many nutrients for food then you might consider. Hope this helps.

They have a great benefit. I had my kids on Enfamil Next Step. It was really good.
