I used to get up at the crack of dawn to go to Black Friday until I realized that they only have maybe two of the things I want and they are sold before I can get through the lines. It's just not worth it to me. I would much rather sleep in.
Apparently I have Christmas on my brain...has anyone seen any good Black Friday Ads leaked yet??
Last year, Toys R Us had an AWESOME deal for a train table and I could kick myself for not taking advantage of it! Although in "my day" we had no problem building the tracks on the floor...
Crossing my fingers that they, or somewhere else, has something good involving wooden tracks this year as my son would LOVE a set of his own!! :-D

I think we have to wait to get through Halloween first.
If you really look at all the Black Friday sales they ar not that great it's all hype. Except for a few limited quanity items the sales are not any better than any other sale.
my husband uses www.bfads.net
amazon.com has the Melissa and Doug wooden railway set for 89.99 right now, that's a pretty good deal. I paid 100.00 2 years ago and thought that was a good deal. We have a train table for it although right now it is set up on the floor because they can make the whole set-up bigger!
Try www.blackfriday.com they usually break the ads first!
Bath and Body works early Black Friday sale is going on now. The hard to find season candles are all on sale ($10 off 3 wick candles!)
I agree with others, I found out (the lack of sleep way!) last year that black friday is not all that. I spent all night going store to store for everyone who wanted to sleep in, had to work. Then two weeks later, all the stores I went to had better deals and sales!!!
Toys R Us just put out their 'Great Big Toys R Us Book' and it has a Thomas wooden table for $149.99 which is good and then they have a huge set of Thomas 'Gold Mine Mountain Set' of tracks for $99.99 and a Imaginarium brand (which works with Thomas trains) Timber Log Spiral set for $37.49 ---->I would get this one if it's your son's first set, it's inexpensive and has 55 pieces, great starter kit for the $$!!
Keep your eyes open at Costco, seems like each year they put their table sets on sale too.
~My kids have finally outgrown our train table and I don't know what to do with it...I shutter when I think of how much $$ was spent on Thomas thru the years!
I was just at Costco and they have a sturdy, round table with wooden tracks, bridges, trains for $80. You could add the Thomas trains if that's what your little guy wants.
Isnt there a site for black Friday lists?
