I have been on the Yaz pill for two months now. Last month, I spotted for one day after my week off the pill. This month, I have had no bleeding at all, and I start my new pack of pills tonight. Has anyone else not had a period while on Yaz? I have had my period with every other bc I've tried.

And i took a dollar store preg test last night, and it was negative... I know, ill probably take one later in the week, with my first morning urine.

What can I do next?

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me when I was on the Yaz. I would always have a very light period and sometimes nothing at all. It would scare me every month b/c I was always thinking I was pregnant.

I ended up changing my pill b/c I just didn't feel like things were normal.

I have had same experience. It drives me crazy because every month I think I am pregnant. Yaz has been in the news lately so I stopped taking it. I have an appt with my doctor on Monday to switch off and try a different pill. Another comment below explains the news about yaz.

I was on Yaz for 4 years, and I always had a 3-4 day period. Since you've just started this pill, I wouldn't worry too much though. I can often take a couple cycles to get regular. I'd recommend what you're already doing, wait a bit and if you still don't start try another test.

I recently read in the news that Yaz is under fire and pending a class action lawsuit because "Yaz is the only pill that has a 24/4 dosing schedule and contains the synthetic hormone drosperinone", and many people have been developing blood clots. "Women who take contraceptive pills containing drospirenone have a six- to sevenfold risk of developing thromboembolism compared to women who do not take any contraceptive pill, and twice the risk of women who take a contraceptive pill containing levonorgestrel."

Whatever its advertised benefits, it's not worth the extra risk.

That must be really un-nerving for you. I myself have not used Yaz so I would reccomend that you copy this link and take a look.

Lots of comments on here from others who do use this product.
Hope it helps you.

I had the exact opposite experience with Yaz. Longer, heavier periods with horrible cramping. My time on Yaz did not last long.
