Hello Mamas!

I will be giving birth to my first at Chester County Hospital in about 6 weeks, and I'm interested to hear from anyone else who gave birth there (positive or negative experiences, I want to hear them all!)
Thanks!

I had my second child via c-section at Chester County Hospital and had a great experience. One nurse in particular, Meredith, was great - she would always try to come in to check on me at the same time the nursery nurse was coming to check on my daughter. You get little rest in the hospital so I really appreciated the consideration of not waking me with separate visits.

I gave birth to my son 7 months ago at Chester County Hospital and absolutely loved it! The nurses are incredible!!!I even had to share a room, but it turned out really well and would deliver there in a heartbeat. Best of luck!!!

I gave birth to my now 2 year old twins at Chester County Hospital. I LOVED it there. The nurses were amazing. They were so very kind. I went to CCOBGYN for pre-natal care and so one of the doctors I saw was there for the birth. I did not have a C-Section, but I did give birth in the maternity O.R. just in case of an emergency. The birthing rooms are very nice. If it weren't for the medical equipment you wouldn't know you were in a hospital room. The O.R. was clean and bright. After giving birth they were so helpful with breastfeeding. I didn't produce milk right away and the nurse was so encouraging and helpful. She told me that any little bit that I got out from pumping they would make sure the babies got it. They really were amazing. The whole maternity section is self contained and very, very secure. I don't know if I am going to have more children, but if I did I wouldn't go anywhere else but Chester County. And remember, always be kind to your nurses they are the ones on your side. Best wishes!

I did and had a wonderful experience! The nurses there were awesome. My labor progressed into the night shift, but my nurse stayed on an hour or so beyond her shift to see my daughter delivered. My stay there was great. The only problem I had was that on the tour they told me my husband could stay in my room, but when I was taken into the standard double room they told him he had to leave. I don't think that would have been such a big deal if this was my 2nd or 3rd child, but I was scared as this was only my first baby and it was already well into the night and I hadn't even tried to nurse her yet! Good luck!

I gave birth there with my daughter and the nurses, especially, were great! I was breastfeeding and although I was bone tired, they would bring Emma into me at the right times and take her when she was done (thank goodness!). They also helped me breastfeed right after delivery which was great. I actually lost two babies prior, one was 17 weeks, and I had to deliver that one as well there - during those trying times, they were great as well! Best of luck to you!
