I did. I ended in a miscarriage and the removal of the IUD. The IUD is notorious for having pregnancy symptom side effects.
OK, I know I'm probably crazy but wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant while on IUD? We had sex a few days ago and I think I might have been ovulating and now I am experiencing what seems like pregnancy symptoms. I'm still nursing my 8 month old so haven't gotten a period yet. It's too early to take a test. Thanks!

How long is a few days? If it was only 3 days (a few is 3) ago you would not be pregnant yet, the implantation probably won't happen for a few more days.
Also like Julia S. said, getting pregnant with an IUD is very dangerous.
Having Sex a few days ago wouldnt make you prego already. Also getting prego while having an IUD can be life threatening.
You wouldn't be feeling pregnant yet. The HCG hormone needs to rise to get symptoms and even if you did conceive a few days ago nothing has happened with the hormone yet.
I work in the field and have seen an 8 week pregnancy sitting right along side an IUD in the uterus. It's possible.
My daughter had an ectopic pregnancy while having an IUD. After probably around 1 month after becoming pregnant (tho she didn't know she was pregnant) she had abdominal pains on the left side, the side of the pregnancy.
I suggest that you may just be experiencing a change in your hormone levels. Perhaps you will resume your period soon.
Which one do you have? I would guess anything is possible but highly unlikely. Best of luck dear.
My little brother is an IUD baby. It was a copper one and they never found it after she delivered so they decided it had fallen out. It does happen. That is why you are suppose to check the string monthly to make sure it's still intact. From what I was told as long as you check that string you have like a 1% chance of getting pregnant and that's usually because something freaky happened like it attached to your uterine wall. Which again is very bad...
But I have mirena in. Have for about 2 years now and I swear every month I am scared I'm pregnant. My periods have pretty much ceased but I still get symptoms of them which is easy to chalk up to pregnancy.
Anyways, funnily enough I wish my mother had told me my little brother was a IUD fail... I pry wouldn't have paid 600 dollars for one and I would have been more vigilante about checking the string in the beginning. I've been assured over and over again that almost all failures are from them falling out and had the woman simply checked monthly it wouldn't have happened. My OB said those are the only cases he's ever seen even with modern IUD's.
