An easy good recipe is lime sherbert and ginger ale. It's makes a frothy and creamy punch. Use 1 2 litter per half gallon of sherbert and adjust to taste.
Hello moms,
I am helping give a baby shower this Sunday and my job is the punch. Does anybody have a good punch recipe? The shower is for a baby girl if that matters.
Thanks in advance!

I'll throw in an old standby that my mother used to put together for parties, but also when anyone in the house wasn't feeling well.
Mix two parts Gingerale with one part pineapple and one part pink grapefruit juice. I hate the taste of grapefruit, but I love this drink! You used to be able to purchase pineapple-grapefruit juice in a large can, but I don't see it much anymore. It's easy to remember too without hunting a recipe!
Good luck with your party!

A real simple & yummy one is Big Red and Pinapple sherbert in a punch bowl. It foams and looks amazing...not to mention it tastes sooooo good .We used it at my babyshower and it ends up looking light pink. Im using it this weekend for my daughters princess 4yr old party. (This is a cheap solution to a punch and you cant mess this one up..that always good for me) Well good luck!
Try getting a gallon of fruit punch, 2 liters of ginger ale or 7up and scopping in some sherbert.
I got this recipe off of allrecipes.com and have served it two times so far, both times the bowl was totatlly emptied.
Apple Orchard Punch
1 32 oz bottle apple juice; chilled
1 12 ounce can frozen cranberry juice concentrate
1 cup orange juice
1 1/2 liter ginger ale
1 apple
1. In a large punch bowl, combine apple juice, cranberry juice concentrate and orange juice. Stir until dissolved, then slowly pour in the ginger ale. 2. Thinly slice the apple vertically, forming whole apple slices. Float apple slices on top of punch.
Hello. I used to be on a social comitee at an elementary school and threw lots of baby showers. An easy and good punch recipe is buy a couple gallons of sherbert (whatever color depending on the sex of the baby, 2 WHITE grape juices, and 2 liters of gingerale. (makes enough for about 10-15 people; add ingredients depending on number of guests) Mix the ingredients and keep testing it as you go to know what to add more of.
p.s. Let the sherbert king of melt before making or it will be harder to stir. There will be chunks of the sherbert that will eventually melt. Also, with a spoon, scoop out the fizz on top when done mixing. It is always a hit at my showers and it is so easy! Good luck!
This is the greatest punch, I've made it for baby showers, birthday parties, dinner parties. I make it and freeze it the night before (other than the sprite) and then just pull it out an hour before it's time to serve.
Citrus Slush Punch
1 46-ounce can pineapple juice
1 12-ounce can frozen orange juice
1 12-ounce can frozen lemonade
3 cups cold water
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 quarts lemon-lime soda
1. Heat 3 cups of water and dissolve granulated sugar.
2. Mix in the remaining ingredients, except the soda.
3. Freeze in 2 - 13" × 9" pans or ice cube trays. When frozen, cut into cubes and put in a container. Keep frozen until ready to use.
4. Let stand approximately 1 hour before serving to start thawing. Pour soda over frozen mixture and stir until it can be poured into glasses.
I have the best punch recipe.. I had it at my own wedding shower and baby shower and at every one that I have thrown...
You fill your punch bowl about 1/2 with ice. you sprinkle flavored tea powder mix (I have used peach and rasberry but you can use any of it) and then add ginger ale until the bowl is as full as you want it. Stir and serve. It is an amazing punch. I know that it does not sound like the best punch ever but I encourage you to try it out at the very least! Good luck and have fun!!
Hi M.:
This recipe you can play with but it's fun for a shower and looks pretty too.
1 can frozen orange juice, 1 2 liter bottle of gingerale or 7-UP, 1 can frozen cranberry or raspberry juice, 2 cans water. Mix well in punch bowl until dissolved. Add one small tub of rainbow sherbert. This will keep the punch not only cold but as it melts it looks pretty. I sometimes add in orange slices and a few cherries. Old family recipe but make it for every party I have and it's a huge hit!
Sprite (or 7 up) with pink sherbert scooped in. I love it! It's cute and pretty and tastes good.
I have a receipe I use. It only has 2 ingredients. Ginger ale and sherbet, you could even use diet ginger ale. I used it several years ago for a baby shower and didn't tell anyone about the die ginger ale and everyone loved it. It used diet because I didn't won't to make it so sweet with the sherbet. Hope this helps. It is called "Pregancy Sherbet"
Hi M.,
What fun! I have a very simple shower punch. I get 1/2 gallon of raspberry sherbet (or other flavor--I go for the pink color for a girl). I also get 2 bottles of ginger ale. I mix half the ingredients in one punch bowl and have the other half ready to mix as needed.
Its very simple but very tasty and pretty.
