Hello again
I posted last week about my trip to disney world in november with my two small kids. But I have another question. I will be staying at all star music resort. Not renting a car. Can anyone give me advice as to what to do about snacks and beverages for the room. I certainly dont want to buy things there because I know it will be alot of money.
I have read about online grocery stores delivering. Has anyone tried this?

Take a look at this website:

Here's another one, and the delivery charge is less than Goodings:

I have never used them, but I'd sure like to know if you do end up using and if you like it!!

Someone already mentioned it, "Goodings", I personally have not used them but my girlfriends parents did, they said it was perfect for them. The only thing they had an issue with is the selection, they didn't find all their "regulars" they typically would find had they gone to the grocery store themselves. But, they said it wasn't a deal breaker and they would definitely use them again.
I have heard you can ship a package to yourself so it will be waiting at the resort for you when you get there. People do this for diapers and and baby needs so why not food too??? FYI, there will be no mini fridge or coffee maker in the room either. None of they value rooms have them but I do believe you can request a mini fridge for a small fee. A great website is allearsnet.net

In the lobby is a gift shop and at the back is a tiny convenience store. They will charge you full list price, but you can get snacks, bread, milk and juice.
In the restaurant (cafeteria style) you can purchase a refillable souvenier cup. I think the price is around $12. Purchase at least one. Everytime you go thru the lobby (you walk thru the lobby to get to the bus) fill up.
Just pack some snacks in your suitcase.
Are you not buying a meal plan?
This one delivers to Disney World resorts, I don't know of any others. There are grocery stores within a few miles of where you are staying but you would probably need to take a cab unless the resort has busses that go onto Rt 192 (I don’t think they take you off site unless it is to the airport).
On the plane I bring a loaf of raisin bread ,2 bags of goldfish and some assorted candy, suckers etc. It is usually enough for the week. We always get the mugs $13 for unlimited pop, coffee etc. When I buy the quick service meal of egg croissant for breakfast,I get a bottle of apple juice and a bottle of orange juice for the kids sippy cups.It lasts a few days diluted. If you buy a meal at your resort(quick service) you can get a bottle of water with it. Then refill your mug . Save the water for later. You can ask for a cup of water at any restaurant . If you don't get the dining plan, you can order a kids meal which is less expensive and comes with a drink. If you do get the dining plan , order the adult meal for yourself and get a bottled water instead of the dessert. If you go to allears website they have lots of tips . Also, Disney Diva has some good tips too. Have a Magical Trip =0)
